Entrance Preview :

No entrance examination for joining in engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. Since it is very good college in my surrounding I have chosen this college.

Internships Opportunities :

I have not joined for any internship till now. Planning to join it in my future or in my vacation leave. It is very good to develop our knowledge than by reading manually.

Placement Experience :

The placements & job opportunities in my college is very excellent. I have got placed in Wipro. This proves you how is my placement details about my college.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes they will provide fees refund if we get good marks in university level. Full fees refund option also available.

Campus Life :

I would like to rate my college about extracurricular, labs, sports, competitions such as robotics, debates etc as 8/10 points in overall performance.

Exam Structure :

Exam structure is as per pattern from Anna University, Chennai. College conducting many exams for giving training for us. So it will very helpful to get good marks in university semester exam.

Average college but a good place to study on your own

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Students who pursuing five and sixth semesters onwards are eligible to attend the placements and internship. Mostly the IT companies are visited frequently and core companies are low. Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
