  • College is very strict- the management has strict rules when it comes to Timings, absenteeism, non compliance to the college discipline code.
  • Rules and discipline is too much.They always say that in order to be successful in file one has to have self discipline and in particular the hotel industry in very particular about discipline.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college is known for its practical hands-on teaching methodology and students get a lot of opportunities to learn through practice. The college is having simulated practical kitchens and when you start working in these kitchens you get a feeling that you working in professional kitchens. The curriculum is updated from time to time and hence does not require any drastic changes. The faculty are all well experienced and the student-to-teacher ratio being less the learning is more effective. The sessional examinations are conducted on time and they are conducted on a format which is exactly based on the final external examination.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college collects the entire fee as and when you accept the college admission.What I have seen is that the college has kept the fee same from the last three years and when enquired they said that the management believes in keeping the fee affordable.The total fee I paid is 85,000/- INR and 2000/- INR towards the examination fee. There are four merit scholarships in the college. a)Best All Rpounder INR 25,000/- b) Best Culinary Artist of the Batch INR 25,000/- c) Best PAastry & Confectionery Artist INR 25,000/- d) Best Attitude INR 25,00/- Apart from this there is one LN Reddy Memorail Scholarship where in the students gets tjhe complete academic fee as the reward.

Campus Life :

College is well known for its various extracurricular activities. The college celebrates Republic Day (in Jan ), Independence Day( In August), Onam( Asper Malayalam Calendar), International; Chefs Day(19th Oct), Telangana Formation Day (September), and Annual Gala Buffet(December). The college has a well-stocked library with titles ranging from Indian cuisine to International cuisine, Bakery, Pastry, Sugar Work, Oriental Cooking, Advanced Cold kitchen, Bread Art, Sugar Confectionery etc. Colleges hire outside sports facilities and make space for their students to participate in sports activities. The college has four student committees namely Catering, Cultural, Sports and Literary. They are actually the brains behind all the events happening in the college. The college makes amp[le funds available for the events.

Admission :

The eligibility of the course is 10th standard.The application form is available on the website of the Culinary academy of India.Yes the college does give seats as per the reservation polisy of the state.The entrance exam is conducted once a year in the month of May/June .The selection process if tough and also has different levels of testing.It starts with Written Exam, and then personal interview. They should not call all the students on the same day for selection .With so many people applying for the course sometimes the students have to wait till night 11.00 for their turn
