Course Curriculum Overview :

Electronics and communication engineering is known as the evergreen branch of engineering as it never runs out It gives us a choice to choose between hardware and software jobs It has a wide range of services and knowledge One can settle down in this stream

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 60000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Many software companies and hardware companies visit our college for internship I personally am from electronics and communication engineering so I can choose to get any one of them they prioritise internship very much

Placement Experience :

From 3-2 and 4-1 students are eligible for campus placements Companion like Accenture,TCS and many more visit our college Highest package is 42 lakhs My plans are to persue masters after my degree The college also provides an excellent masters program

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I pay a tuition fees of 60 thousand it's actually really affordable compared to other universities I also pay 12 thousand for external courses such as web development etc The college provides scholarships for those in need It also conducts examinations such as hackathons and etc which pay really good money if we win

Campus Life :

The college conducts fest every year in December it has different stalls placed by students where they invest and earn It contains extra cultural activities such as singing and dancing and flash mob Our library is really diverse it contains a lot of book which include educational,sci-fi, novels etc Sports are really encouraged and they even provide training in interested sport Clubs are also encouraged they run by students with a faculty mentor they help us to get out of box

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are really clean and beautiful Our room has four beds and four cupboards including a wash room,sink,study table and two windows It is cleaned everyday When people get sick there are caretakers who provide us with lunch Meals are average Registration is done by the college

Hostel Fee : INR 105000 per year

Admission :

The admission process based on a rank in eamcet examination conducted by the Andhra Pradesh education system Based on the rank in that exam you can select your colleges and course Each college have different cut offs The application form and cutoff rank are present at their website The exam was based on math physics and chemistry it was moderate I opted for electronics and communication engineering in Vishnu institute of technology

After JEE Advanced the student who cannot make it to the IITs comes here despite having prior knowledge of the branches. The faculty-student ratio is good at 1:9. The qualification of most of the faculty is good. Term exams are not so difficult and easy to score and they are taken timely.

Always don't focus on placements and select the college. Search for college which concentrate on co-curricular and other technical activities.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the final year 1st semester. TCS and Accenture are the major recruiters, followed by Deloitte, Cognizant, and MuSigma. TCS and Accenture were selected by almost 1000 students from all the branches. The highest package offered is Microsoft which is 10L and the Average salary is 3.36L for the System Engineer role. 80% of students usually get placed in the first 8 months and the remaining 10% get placed by end of the course. My plan is to go for an MBA after a prior experience.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement training is for different sections is there. for that also we have to pay a certain amount which is 8000, So those companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, TeChmahindra, Genpact, Capgemini, Mphasis, HCl, ETC. The highest package is a fresher 7 LPA. Minimum package 3 LPA and few 2.6 depends upon roles. 60- 65 % percent of people will be in place. I want to work as a software engineer at Capgemini.
