Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is decent and adequate, faculty strength is satisfactory for the students strength and faculties are mostly professors with some having PHD , term exams are twice a year with decent difficulty to pass.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 70000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Decent projects are given for group and team building performances , however very poor stipend and internships given. The companies which offer are not even known to most as they are all small and unpopular companies

Placement Experience :

From 5th semester onwards campus placements are started , Not many good companies approach this college students and the average package is also very low. Most students who get placements are from Btech CSE department. My personal plan after the degree was off campus interviews

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees hike is a concern here as abrupt extra fees will be demanded sometimes a about 8000-10000 namely for development and welfare fees apart from semester and admission fees , various scholarships are available for students .

Campus Life :

The life at campus is very dull , boring and lethargic. There are almost no clubs for recreation and the seniors are also very unfriendly and boring. The books at library are in poor conditions and the library card is delayed for issue. There is very low sports and extra curricular occurrences in the college.

Admission :

The admission process was through direct admission, the college takes admission even without any entrance exams based on 12th and 10th marks. Additional charges may be required for admission if no JEE is attempted that year.

Review on Guru Nanak Institute of Technology from one year of college experience

Placement Experience:

Recession is going on since last few years and being a private college obviously that has affected placements in our college also. The current situation of placement is not really good. Among students from all branches which each may have like 150 students, only 20 something got placed on campus. It is said that companies like TCS, Capegemini, Wipro, Amazon, Zscaler etc comes to campus for hiring but most just come and don't hire. This year highest package was 26.5 lakhs by only 2 students from our department, CSE.

After 6 semester you will be eligible for on campus placement. But you can get internship offers earlier. The companies visited last year are Deltax, TCS research, zscalar, yellow class. The placement data of this college can be found on its site and if you work hard from your side the college will definitely bring in the companies and you will be placed depending on your skills. According to my knowledge the students becomes eligible for placement from 6 th semester this information may as be wrong so please refer to college once . College tries for almost 100 percent placements but with no skill even god can't help you so it comes to you individually how much have you grown. My plans after the degree is to get a job .
