Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose the course since it was related to my bachelor's subject, and I was interested in it. The faculty-to-student ratio was adequate. The teaching methods were innovative and student-friendly, and the professors were all highly qualified. The exams were divided into 4 parts: 2 class terms and 2 final exams. They were moderate
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There was no price hike within the duration of the study. The cost of the course was in the mid-range, not too costly, not extremely affordable. In my opinion the price could be reduced a bit. I was not availed of any scholarship during my studies. The internship provided by the University in the last semester was in a good company.
Campus Life :
The annual Fest was named The Amity Leadership Fest (ALF). It was conducted in March. The various events in the ALF included DJ war, face painting, Fashion show, Nukkad natak, Car race, Dance competition, Rangoli competition, etc. Various celebrities used to come, and the event was extremely enjoyable. The library had ample books. The classes were well-equipped. Various sports, such as football, basketball, golf course, martial arts, pool table, horse riding, etc., were available on campus. The Cyber Club, techinja, dance clubs, and the social club were run by students.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel accommodation comprises flats, each with three rooms with two beds in each room. Every flat has a bathroom, sink, and a separate shower space. Each student gets a separate table, chair, mattress, pillow, pillow cover, bedsheet, curtain, and towel. They have a free laundry service for students as well. The campus has a single mess and provides breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner. The food charge is payable per meal basis. The food quality is decent. The hostel facilities are quite adequate and good.
Admission :
For selection into the M.Sc. Industrial Microbiology course offered by Amity University, Jaipur, I had to partake in a 2 round admission test. The first test involved a written test of 50 marks and the other part comprised of an interview. The interview panel comprised 4 dignitaries who asked basic questions about my bachelor's degree. The application form was available on their website.
