Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I want to build a career in finance, and this course includes core finance subjects from the first semester itself. Faculty student ratio is around 1:9. All the faculties were either MBAs or PHDs or Professionals. The term exams were after every 3-4 months. It was easy to pass the exams.

Internships Opportunities :

There were so many internship opportunities in my college. Companies like bain, McKinney, BCG, de shaw, cred, etc were offer internships to the students with a stipend that varies between 20000-70000 rupees.

Placement Experience :

The placements of my college are very nice with an average package of 13+ LPA. if no campus placements were offered then there were several off campus opportunities. In third year students are eligible for campus placements.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees for my course that is BBA (FIA) is 25000 thousand rupees per year, but for BMS it was 15000. I didn't got any scholarship or financial assistance from the college, and I didn't applied for campus jobs.

Campus Life :

The life at the campus is good and peaceful. There is a healthy competition on the campus. There were almost 45+ societies and clubs in our college.the infrastructure of the college was too good, the college have convenient desks, good library, air conditioned rooms.

Hostel Facilities :

No, neither i live in hostel nor in rented accommodation. My house is not so far from the college. But some of my friends are in hostel, the life at hostel is good and the meals they get are healthy too.

Admission :

The admission process was very convenient and simple. First I gave cuet exam by registering on the official website of cuet samarth, then after exams I filled up the admission form of Delhi University at CSAS portal, and got admission in first cut off in Shaheed Sukhdev College of business studies in Bachelor of Business administration (financial investment analysis). Earlier when the cuet was not there, for the admission in this course you have to give an exam called DUJAT. Cuet made that too easy. Cuet is one exam for all the courses of the Delhi University. I don't think so that it requires any type of improvement, but yeah improvement in portal must be done because the portal crashes everytime I check.

Interview Experience :

No, I didn't face any group discussion, interview or written test for the admission. Because cuet became one step exam for the admission in colleges. I got direct admission in college without giving any GD.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As my Course is a professional so the ciriculum is really good and it's based on real life as well however teaching hindi and some extra subjects which don't help us doesn't make sense to me and I believe that more focus should be given on development of communication skills.

Placement Experience:

Maharaja Surajmal Institute is value for money. Placements: Almost everybody in the BBA course were placed. The highest placement in 2024 is Rs. 7,50,000. The average package in 2024 is Rs. 3,50,000. Recruiting companies include Federal Bank, Upgrade, etc. Students who got the internship from Bachelois in Business Administration are less likely to get it, as college doesn't help. Infrastructure: The quality of infrastructure is very poor in Maharaja Surajmal Institute. The library and labs are good but the classrooms don't have ACs. The quality of food available in the canteen is average. Don't join this college if you want to excel in sports. Hostel quality is very poor too. You won't find ACs in rooms. Moreover, there are Indian toilets, which are outdated. Faculty: Few teachers are seriously irritating and focus more on attendance than the quality of their teaching. A BBA course, in my opinion, doesn't make you job-ready but gives a basic outline of the job role and responsibilities

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start the 5th semester onwards, although the package is very low given the current status of courses of BBA and BCom Hons in the country with not much scope in the market, also the amount of students getting placements is very low with some decent companies although my plans after getting a degree from here is to pursue MBA.

Remarks:

Well, My course was BBA(FIA) which is offered by this college only for maled in Delhi University, apart from that the reputation of the college and the average package/past placements were the major factors in choosing this college.

Placement Experience:

The placements are also good. Several known firm enter our college for hiring offering a decent package.
