  • One thing that i must say i don't like about is that there's grouping system.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I wanted to break the traditional system of education and wanted to prove people that to get better professional life you just don't need to stick only on studies. You can do it by opting some vocational course too. so i chose tourism management in College of vocational studies. Each and every faculty is well educated and holds PHD degrees so you just don't need to worry about that too you can get quality education here.

Internships Opportunities :

I just got admission in 2023 itself so i just don't know much about internships. But i have talked to some of my seniors they said if you have good CGPA then you'll easily get the internships and if you have good communication skills.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Du fees are very sufficient you can easily afford it. It actually depends on the combination of course +college. I just got admission in 2023 itself so i just don't much about scholarships. But i would say if you're looking for vocational courses then it's one of the best college of DU.

Campus Life :

Du fests are very awesome and enjoyable. I really love DU fests. I must say i took admission in DU just because of it's fests. You can easily access books in library. There's lot of societies and clubs you can join it to best out of yourself

Admission :

To get admission in DU. You first need to appear for CUET .CUET has a vary simple format so you can easily fill it by yourself. You don't really need to visit Cyber café. You can get the CUET related update from the official website of NTA.

Other Applied Colleges

College of Vocational Studies - [CVS] | Bachelor of Vocational Studies [B.Voc.] (Tourism Management)

It is the one of the best college of south campus thats why i choose that college

Placement Experience:

For campus placements, students become eligible with a CGPA of 6.5-7.5 or above and after 6 sem ie third year. I have not visited any companies because of the covid situation which led to online studies. The highest package is about 12 lakhs pa and the average package around 2.5 lakhs pa with around 400 companies visiting the campus for recruitment. Around 70% of the students get placements. I would prefer to do further education and then aim at getting the job I am aiming for.

Remarks:

The software development course was new and promising as it came to the Delhi university premises only an year ago. The IT field was something I was going to pursue because we all are aware of the plethora of opportunities this field opens up for a person and engineering was something I was not quite sure about since I couldn't land into any college of my preference. So I went to experience and experiment for myself in Ramanujan College. The college was not well known and so was the course so it was a bit painful to explain the whole curriculum everytime a layman asked about which course I'm in, which was about most of the times.
