ADVENTURES OF A GGSIPU LAW GRAD

Dislikes

  • The management was always of it’s been 4 months of my application for renewal iid card and I haven’t got it till now
  • Very smalls place like no campus to cherish it’s only one single fall building

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is easy to comply with and the material can be found in easily online and via books . I opted this cours because I was always curious about the legal system of India and how it prevails justice Faculty to student ratio was okay nothing of that side of exceptional...there were instances of clashes among teacher maybe office politics ig Qualifications of faculty is up to mark except some has hard ways of teaching Exams were always on timE

Internships Opportunities :

There were many seminars conducted in our clg by ccs and others bodies I didn't got any internship from clg I found them on my own via LinkedIn Although we always had the option to talk it out with our teaches for further details

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

We were told that fees gets cheaper later but it don't got significant down....but was fair compared to other university with such big fees stucture Cost of study was fair as fees was not that much however it was a bit far from my place so usually used to take 100 rs per day to travel to clg which seems aslo fair in these times I don't got any on campus job it scholarship.

Campus Life :

Every year we have spots day , cultural fest keeps on going so it's an happening but since our campus is very small ...sports day usually used to venue at a diff place The library of up to date w all the required book for the course Classroom has a projector and a smart board Both spots and exa used to take place often there were volley team , basketball, badminton cricket etc And competition like dance used to take place in other campuses Since the place is very small so it lacks over there a lot

Admission :

I gave clat 2019 through which I got admission ,all of the process of admission was online from registration to freezing seats and finally opting for the clg. One more add on I would like to sugges in the process is to get to know at what rank the clg would start to accept application for admission

Placement Experience:

The students here opt for diverse career options including judiciary, UPSC, MBA, litigation, LLM, or sit for placements. Tier one firms visit the campus on day zero to offer placements. The students sit for placements at the start of the fifth year.

Placement Experience:

The college provides good placement for BBA and MBA programs. But if we talk about the Law program, there are no such good placements that are provided by the college. Though in papers there are companies and law firms which come to the college hardly any students get those placements or students prefer to go for out-of-college placements as they are better than the ones provided by the college. Students who are really serious about the program and skills are doing fine by finding internships and placements on their own.

Placement Experience:

University provide placements where manytop tier firms come to college for recruitment. Last few years have been bad for NLUD with only 50-60 percent placements. Before that there used to be 100 percent placement.

Placement Experience:

There was no placement in the college. In my memory only 4-5 students got placed during the course. Placement cell is very lethargic and inactive. Instead of taking their support students prefer to join senior advocate under whom they have done internship.
