Remarks :

Overall college is good. Interaction between different departments can be improved. Playgrounds is needed to set up well.

Entrance Preview :

I appeared for MSBTE exam. I got admitted in the college through cap round no there was no interview taken. I landed up here by advices & recommendations . I had passion for civil engineering so I chose this course.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is nice with many challenges but also some of the portion is unnecessary. There is good focus on the practical learning however the practical sessions are somewhat limited. No idea about the research initiatives.

Internships Opportunities :

The college did provide an internship for students of third year. And that too with a stipend of ₹2000. However whatever may the stipend be, what actually counts is the valuable experience we get over there.

Placement Experience :

Placement for civil engineering students are less compared to other departments. The students getting placed yearly are about 60%. The average package is around 5 lakhs. Major companies which visits the college are generally either mechanical or IT companies.

College Events :

"Gandharva", " Vishwaprenuer"," Cesa", these are the major technical or non technical events organised by our students and staff. Overall we can say it was good. The events are mammoth. The average footfall was 2K. The college authorities contribute well in the best possible way they can.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The college is not that affordable. Fee is high for average middle class person. Open category students have to pay higher fees, for them the fee is around 1 lakhs 25K.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No I was not provided with scholarship by our college. However many students get the scholarships. But I guess those are the scholarships provided by the government.

Campus Life :

Extracurricular activity are limited in our college. Ground management can be done a bit better. We do get ample opportunities to explore our talent but this things are to be little hiked up. Some more opportunities are to be provided maybe technical or non technical.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel till last year was at a little long distance apart from college. But now the hostel is built up in the college campus. Don’t have enough knowledge about test of the things but the food is average though.

Alumni/Alumna :

No there was not enough interaction with college alumni so don’t have enough information. I guess the college isn't having that provision at all. But alumni interaction is a good thing to introduce. The college must get into this.

Exam Structure :

Time table is hectic and monotonous. The exams can be said frequent much enough to make us feel tired. There needs the flexibility in the routine. The exams are strict .

Faculty :

Staff is nice and strict but at times not as flexible as needed. Although they are well qualified n are having good teaching experiences. All of the faculties are Masters or PhD holders. They are much interactive, very few among them are. The standard of teaching is good.

Placement Experience:

Students from the 7th semester onwards are eligible for campus placements. Core Biomedical companies like GE, Medtronics, biosense etc and IT companies like TCS, JIO, INFOSYS, CAPGEMINI etc Recruit Biomedical Engineers. Most Biomedical Students prefer Masters over placements. 80 percent of students from selected candidates get placed. I will go for Placements and I will get into post graduation after clearing GATE 2023.

Remarks:

Location is most likely a factor for me. It is closed to my home. And the another factor is that, Different colleges offer different programs with their curriculum. For example, as an Engineering student, I had a set of classes that I was required to take, with little deviation apart from electives.

Placement Experience:

I haven't experienced placements yet. but yes the deserving students get internship every year. The whole staff of this college is very nice.
