Remarks :
College Management can do better on Faculty with more experienced teachers & In-House facitlity. Also the Director needs to be more Dynamic towards the students needs & should have strong relations with the Corporate which can result in better placements
Entrance Preview :
I had taken SNAP exam in the year 2008 qualifying for all Symbiosis college & had scored 104. I was selected for SITM, SCIT and SIIB out of all the Symbiosis affiliated colleges & had chosen SIIB, MBA-IB course due to its better rank among the rest.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course structure was well defined with 8-10 subjects in a year with 1st year containing subjects covering all major principles i.e HR, Finance, SCM & Marketing, while the 2nd year was concentrated only on your choice of Specialization. Overall faculty is above average with Excellent faculty for Market Research, B2B Marketing and Statistics.
Internships Opportunities :
There were around 25 companies which visited the campus for Internship with average stipend offered being 10K. I was selected in Vodafone for Internship & my role was of Marketing Executive focussing on Vodafone's Zoo Zoo campaign.
Placement Experience :
The placements of the college is decent with average salary being around 6 Lakhs p.a in 2010 with all eligible students being placed. Some of the companies which visited were Infosys, TCS e-Serve, HCL Tech, HCL Comnet, Asian Paints, Loreal, Coco-Cola to name a few with average offer being around 7L p.a
College Events :
Cultural & management festival is Ignisense which was started in the year 2008 is multi-cultural amalgamation of various events, activities & games which sees participation by all top B-schools across the country. Anusmriti is the yearly Alumni event which sees participation from top corporate & alumnus making it big in their respective fields
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
College has tie-ups with all prominent Govt & Private banks with securing a loan being a breeze
Campus Life :
SIIB had a good gender ratio of 40:60 with students from all diverse states taking admissions to the course. There are workshops by Industry leaders on a regular basis helping in overall development of the students. Also as part of Student Exchange program SIIB has tie-ups with Bremen University (Germany).
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel rooms are given on sharing basis amongst 3 people both for girls & boys. Room are small in size with not much room to walk around. Fees- 4.5 lakhs total including accomodation, meals & course fees in 2008 Mess food- Bad. There was a case of food po

College seniors have always been helpful & welcoming towards the junior with each junior being assigned a senior (buddy) to help them overcome all challenges, apprehensions of the 1st year.
