Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I was interested in law. Faculty to student ratio is quite good enough in our college. However, nothing is mentioned about this clearly on our official website. Our faculties are highly qualified. One of our associate professors doctor K.V.K Santhy has been teaching criminal law for 18 years and did her doctoral thesis on penal reforms in India at Osmania University. Our term exams are conducted quite timely and are not very difficult to pass.

Internships Opportunities :

JSA advocates and associates, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas and Sharad Amarchand Mangaldas were one of the top companies that gave internship opportunities to our seniors with a quite good enough stipend.

Placement Experience :

Students from the 9th semester are eligible for campus placements. Many big companies like Trilegal, Luthra & Luthra, Saraf and Partners, Axis Bank, Veritas Legal, and TATA AIG gave offers to our college students. The highest package offered in our college for BALLB Hons students was 40lpa. While the average package was around 16.5lpa last year. 100% of students got placed in our college last year. I am planning to pursue my job at Aditya Birla as a senior lawyer. Same as my father

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is no such thing as a fee hike policy but NLASAR fees are already too high and almost all NLUs have fees ranging from 2 to 75 lakhs a year which is a pretty good amount for a middle-class Indian. The Vice-Chancellor shall be the Patron of the University Scholarship committee and shall exercise final authority over all decisions regarding scholarship regulations and disbursal. The eligibility criteria for the scholarship annual income of parents of the student shall not exceed 800000 In the case of 2nd to 5th-year students, they should have scored a minimum CGPA required for passing till the last academic year. The minimum CGPA should be 6.0 on the 10-point CGPA scale or its equivalent grade of B+.

Campus Life :

Many fests are organized in our college. Zera 23 was abuzz with excitement as the fashion show event hosted by ethereal- the cultural club of DoMS, NALSAR. Nalsar literary festival is also organized every year. Also, Awadh Magadh was organized There are lots of books and journals available in the library. The amenities provided in the classroom are quite good enough. Our classroom is properly air conditioned, smart boards are installed in each class. The seating arrangement is also quite good Trilateral, NALSAR super league sports fest and competitions are conducted every year in our college. NALSAR Queer collective is one of the active students club. There are many others too.

Admission :

For admission to the UG level BA LLB course students must have passed 10 + 2 from a recognised board and should have qualified for the CLAT examination. 2024 Clat application start date was July 1st, 2023 and the application form's last date is November 3rd, 2023. General OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI candidates should pay rupees 4000 as an application fee. SC/ST/BPL category candidates should pay rupees 3500 as application fees. Didn't avail of any reservation benefits as I was from the general category. None admission process was quite smooth but counselling was a little delayed.

Placement Experience:

Placements are usully held in the 5th year (9th Semester). But students are offered internships in the 3rd and 4th years and some students are offered Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) before placements itself. NALSAR has had a 100% placement record for a long time now.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd semester, you are well eligible for placements. Various company's and firms get into some famous like Amarchand and so on. As an intern, you are not getting that big salary offers but you get a good and sustainable amount of money for work. I think the highest package was offered as 18lac per annum and the majority stick to 13 14 lakhs. 100% of students get placements if they have performed well in every semester. I've decided to work one year as a clerk with a judge and then on to do my master's in law from abroad.
