Remarks :
I think our College management & everything is quite good. Management is always supportive of the students. Our colleges and seniors are also supportive. So I would like to give our college a big Thums Up
Entrance Preview :
I appeared in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination WBJEE & Secured 5000 rank in it. I opted for this College as this is a good College & I was getting Civil Engineering in it & also this College has very good infrastructure.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I would give 4 out of 5 to the course curriculum. Course Curriculum is good for a private college, as we have well established laboratory & really good faculties to help us. Course is not so tough to complete faculties are very helpful. And We get very good environment to do good work on our cousre. We have a huge library with all kinds of books available for our cousre. So overall the course curriculum is good.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes Our College Provide Internship. Some of the Company which came to our college are Godrej, Mahindra Larsen & Tubro (LnT). Internship is finalized after a small test & We generally get 10 thousand Stipen.
Placement Experience :
Placement & Job Opportunities are quite good. Almost 500 students got placed in different companies this year. Some of the Companies which came to our college were Godrej, TCS, Mahindra Ltd, Larsen and Turbo, Conginizent etc. Package students got varied from 3 lakhs per annum to 10 lakhs per annum. Average package was 4.5 lakhs per annum. So overall we can say that Placement was quite good this year. Student from IT & ECE department got placed the most.
College Events :
We have almost 5-6 events per year One Freshers event named 'Nascent' & then we have one technical fest called ' Daksh ' Also One Sports event called 'Hedly' in which every kind of sports competition is organized. And other events too. This all happens in the big level. Last year People like Farhan Akhtar the Actor & Director was invited to Eclecia along with renowned poet Rahat Indori. Participation is also huge students from all the college Across the city the State take participate in the events organized.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee structure is quite less as compared to other colleges in the city. Other Colleges take almost 70 thousands rupees per semester, where as our college takes only 45 thousands fees per semester. Admission fees of our college is only 15 thousand rupees, Library charge is 4000 thousand rupees for 4 years. Development fees in 5 thousand rupees. And they take 10 thousands Rupees as security deposit. So I don't think its much expensive.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Loan and scholarship facility is available only which are government affliated. Also loan from bank are available. Some of the scholarship program are given by stare Govt for poor students. Also for minorities.
Campus Life :
I would say College Campus life is quite fun. We have very good gender ratio in our college. Almost 600 hundreds girls for every 1000 boys students. We have cultural society too like Pravasna for Photography & Theatre club like Anubhav also Rotract club for social activities. People from every religion and caste study here and we have quite good relationship & friendship with each other. We don't have any discrimination here students from all over the Country study in our college including students from Nagaland Sikkim to From Andra Pradesh & Punjab. We have quite happy Environment. We don't have any political influenced environment in our college.
Hostel Facilities :
College hostel is quite good but has fewer seats. College Hostel fees are around 85 thousand rupees for a year. Which includes Lodging and Fooding. Facilities provided are a good place to live 2-3 students share a room. A washroom for every 5 students available in the hostel. Other than hostel near College we have many pgs and also Flats available for rent for students.
Alumni/Alumna :
I think we have quite good relationship with our seniors. They are very supportive & quite friendly. We can ask them for anywhere anytime & they fulfill our demand of treat. They even help us in our studies. They also provide us books which we need. Even Alumni too Talk good about our college.
Exam Structure :
Exam structure is quite good, not so hectic schedule for students. We have two Internal or Mid Semester Exams in a semester and one Semester Exams in a six month. Lab classes are regularly held & lab Exam is also conducted with Semester Exams. Where we assessed by the lab we do in our semester with viva exams & we also have to do a small practice in our lab exams. I must say exams schedule are not hectic.
Admission :
First We had to do One Online Councilling to fill our choice according the rank we secured. All this was given in official website of WBJEE. Then we had to go to the College on the date they gave us to come. Then we got form from the College & got admission, Everyone was supportive in this process.
Faculty :
I would rate 4 out of 5 to our Faculties. Given they are well qualified & have deep knowledge of our subject. Also faculty student ratio is good like 1 faculty for 25 students. We have many lab assistant too to help us in laboratory, they help us and moreover faculties are very much friendly and helpful. Some of the faculties even have done PhD, so the standard rises with it.
