Remarks :
Everything is good about the University except for the the outing. Outings are not allowed and living in a limited area for months is exhausting.
Entrance Preview :
Admitted through merit based. Some courses have entrance exam and some have merit based admission Biotechnology is a growing field wid many opportunities. A day was assigned for interview and the admission procedure. On that hostel alotment was done.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course structure has all the important ingredient in it. All the important topics are taken into account. Practicals are done on regular basis as per the syllabus. Not too much focused on research in bachelor degree. But exposure to different instruments that are used in this course is done.
Internships Opportunities :
No. It does not provide internship. If we need to do internship, we can look out somewhere else for it. Faculty guides us in this to do our internship from different laboratories.
Placement Experience :
Least placement in bachelor's degree in this course. Like only one or two companies come for placement and that too wid around 1L/a. Job opportunities are negligible. Sometimes companies like wipro and nestle come for placement. Not every year. With least placement opportunities.
College Events :
Janus Kaarvan Mayukh Navotkarsh Nyayotkarsh Hue These are some departmental fests which are done by some of the departments together. Students take active part in it. Cultural events, quiz,seminars , craft and games section, model making, presentation, green week are different events organised by these fests.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee structure is a little expensive as during the fee submission always they add up some extra due amount without a proper reason. This course is around 1 lakhs 21,000 including education and mess fee. There should be some feasibility in the course fee. Extra course include extra fee which is deducted at the end of the year.
Fees and Financial Aid :
Scholarships are available for different courses as per the merits. Top students get merits based scholarship Another scholarships are for below poverty line students who arr not available to fill their fees. Loans are not available. If it is i don't have any clue.
Campus Life :
Campus life is too busy as after classes there are certain courses one can join. As it is women's University, female ratio is obviously more than male. There are certain extracurricular courses like games, horse riding, badminton, dancing, singing, instrumental etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Mostly Hostels are well furnished. Some are being renovated as per the need. Hostel is around 50,000 rs. Rooms are very hot. Like they have either one or two cieling fans or side fans which are not able to cool the room. Study table, mattress pillow are given in new hostels. Room are available in two seater, three seater, four seater and one seater also. Have an long open terrace.
Alumni/Alumna :
There is not much interaction between the junior-seniors and the alumnae. Only at fests which is conducted by post graduate students, juniors get to interact to each other.
Exam Structure :
Labs and exams are chilled out. Labs are done regularly in a proper manner. This isn't hectic as the course is completed withing the period of time. Lab assistants are helpful and guide us through our practicals. Exams end in almost 15 days which is not hectic at all.
Admission :
Firstly i did an online registration for the admission in the course. After that printed an offline form, filled all the details and sent it to the administrative office. After a month or so received an email from the University for admission. And then i had to come along with my guardian for the admission process.
Faculty :
Faculty members are quite interested and knowledgeable in their respective fields. One has proper knowledge about their specialised subject. And they are ready to help in all the way the can. If it is a project or research paper, they provide full support and guidance.
