Remarks :
DAIICT has a beautiful campus, it's clean and green and very peaceful, the infrastructure is good, facilities provided are great. College has three AC lecture halls. It has laboratories and classrooms well equipped with a WiFi connection. Laboratories are open 24 hours. The canteen food is really delicious and offers a wide variety of food. The lawns are beautiful. Sports complex and resource center all well maintained and stocked. My experience at this college has been the best 4 years of my life.
Entrance Preview :
To get admissions into our college, you have to give your 12th Boards Examination and JEE Mains examination conducted by CBSE. The cumulative rank made according to your merit in JEE mains and 12th boards give you an AIR rank, according to which you are shortlisted into the college. There is no interview session for admissions, it is pure merit based. I chose this college as it offers excellence, it's one of the best colleges for coding, and I love coding.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have chosen ICT, it is a unique combination of Information and communication technology which is not offered by any other college. Practical learning here at DAIICT is given alot of importance, Lab sessions are conducted regularly, students are encouraged to do internships. Electives are tech and non tech subjects, you can chose from a myriad of options and credits are given for the same.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship offered to the students is also great with stipend amount ranging from 5-10K per month. Summer and Winter internship programmes are offered to students. Students from outside Gujarat stay back in college for these internships.
Placement Experience :
The Placements at DAIICT are phenomenal. 90% students get placed, and the rest pursue higher studies or chose to do different work. The average package of 2017 was 9lpa the maximum being 30lpa. Big companies like Google, Amazon , Grofers, Microsoft come for placements. There is a placement cell in college.
College Events :
The Campus Crowd is really good, with students coming from the whole country. Our campus is clean and green and has a beautiful atmosphere. Fests are organised by the students every year. IFest is the technical fest of the college, with events students from all over Gujarat take part in. Concours is the sports fest and Synapse is the Culfest which is held in February. It's the best fest, and is really fun and interactive, concerts are organised events like ttt workshop etc are also done. Last year's concert featured Sonu Nigam. Standup Artists are called for shows. It's a really fun time does students. The footfall at these fest are around 5000 students.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The Tuition Fees is around 67,000/- per semester. Deposit money is 15,000/- . Registeration fees of 2500/- per semester is taken. The hostel fees is 15,000/- per semester. The fees is high, but the services and facilities are as good as it gets.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Scholarships are provided by the college on a merit basis. Students list is prepared who are offered a scholarship upon there ranks. Reliance foundation also offers a scholarship under there Corporate Social Responsibilities, these scholarships too are on a merit basis.
Campus Life :
Extracurricular activities are always promoted by the college, there are dance clubs,press clubs, sports teams, all the activities are encouraged and students actively participate in them. Student's hobbies are kept in mind while thinking of events for a Culfest or techfest.
Hostel Facilities :
Staying in hostels is a compulsion for each and every student. The hostels are really good, the infrastructure is good, washrooms well maintained. The rooms are two sharing rooms. The mess/canteen food costs about 4000/- a month. But the food quality is healthy and tasteful. The hostel fees as mentioned before is 15000/- per semester.
Alumni/Alumna :
The Alumni network is quite strong as alumni information is easily accessible through the college office. Alumni are invited for the different fests and they also help students whenever in need.
Exam Structure :
Exams and Quizzes are held very frequently, almost every month. It's a very hard time for students. It does make one tired as two exams are conducted in a day, and students strive to get good score in both. There is no time to revise between the two exams.
Faculty :
The faculties at our college are immensely qualified. They have years of experience and have excelled in their field. The lectures are quite interactive and really interesting if you love the subject. There is no attendance criteria but all students actively participate for the lectures. The learning process is made easy after attending these expert lectures.
