Course Curriculum Overview :

I love the Arabic language that's why I chose this course it is the prominent and oldest department, which was established on 19/06/1967. Though it was introduced as a department offering Additional Language facilities, now grown to offer both UG and PG-level courses. The annual intake of the BA Arabic Language Literature Programme is 48. The unique feature of the BA Arabic Degree Programme is a DTP course offered in the Sixth Semester.

Course Fees : INR 3500 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The college and department do not assure any stipend its all about our intelligence and skills. But the college supports us to get the scholarships and they inform us of the dates deadlines and details of scholarships.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Cost to study First year - 3530, Second year - 3120, Third year - 3925, total 10575, scholarship - E-grand kerala It is the scholarship is an online portal for the centralized grants disbursal system offered by the government of Kerala. the scholarship offered under this scheme is for the economically weaker section OBC/SC/ST and other minority community candidates based on their educational qualifications.

Campus Life :

name of the annual fest is College Day the names are different each year and many programs are organized under the auspices of the college union. The well-equipped central library has a collection of 42000 books and 110 journals and periodicals at national and international level.

Admission :

eligibility is plutwo. normally you get the seat around 80% and above. Application form available on Kannur university site. There are no fixed fees. there is a reservation for Muslim community students.

Placement Experience:

The college provides many placement opportunities. The campus placements happens during the sixth semester of the course. The college conducted many placement drives. The college provided classes to enhance interview skills. The college also provided opportunities to prepare Resume, Curriculum Vitae and conducted mock interviews to enhance their confidence level. Most of the students got placed who attended the interviews. I am planning to go for higher studies. I am planning to pursue Masters in English Literature. I am hoping to get admitted to this college itself.

Placement Experience:

There are placements in St thomas, with a placement cell but I have to say it beyond terrible. Especially students from criminology and forensics have zero opportunities in their field. They barely help with higher education or career counseling. It was quite frustrating as they had a negative approach itself to our batch
