Remarks :

Overall, Babu Banarasi Das University is a great place to achieve your dreams. The management has always been there for the support and betterment of the students and the institution as a whole.

Entrance Preview :

I took IIT JEE and had scored 91 in it. I chose BBD University because some of my school seniors had given positive reviews for it. I visited the university campus and interacted with some of the students over there and found it to be a good place to go for my further studies.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course structure is well laid and in accordance with the engineering pattern. The syllabus is not outdated. Apart from the curriculum subjects, we can do extra learning and skill development by the support of faculty members and by working in groups with other students.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes, the college provides internship in the third year of the engineering. Also, they run various Industry Readiness programs to give industry exposure to the students. Overall experience is good.

Placement Experience :

There is an exclusive placement wing which provides the placement assistance to the students. Some of the top companies visit the university including Ola, Byju's, Dr.Reddy's, Accenture etc. Most of the students get placed. And students also go for off-campus placement drives.

College Events :

A lot of interesting events take place on the campus. The college fest takes place every year. Other events like cultural events, Human Rights Days, World Food day, Engineer's day etc take place. Every event is well planned and executed with the combined efforts of the students, management and the faculty members.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure for engineering course is INR 60,000 per semester. Also, scholarships are provided to the students who are good in their academics. So its quite feasible not too expensive. The hostel fee is also nominal. It is based on twin and triple sharing.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

If the student has a great academic record and has scored well in the entrance examination then the university provides various scholarships to that student. The amount of scholarship is dependent on the score of the student.

Campus Life :

The university has a Student's Mall housing Food Court, Stationery & Book Shop, Salon, Dispensary and Branded Outfit Shops. The Campus also has Coffee Shops and kiosks in its spread. The auditorium is regularly used for organizing cultural, technical and academic events and screening of entertainment and educational movies.the University has launched its own community radio – BBD FM at 90.8 MHz to educate, sensitize and share knowledge with students and community. BBD FM at 90.8 MHz through its programs exclusively designed seeks to reach out to the masses of Lucknow and adjoining localities on issues concerning health, education, environment, community development, scientific awareness, cultural and social welfare, civic & social issues etc.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility for 2000+ Boys and 1000+ Girls respectively is available in the campus. The Hostel accommodation is on twin / triple sharing basis. Each Hostel has a Recreation Room with Television and Indoor Games facility. The taste of food is good and proper hygiene is maintained everywhere.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

The college has a positive environment all around. The seniors are very helpful and supportive. They give valuable suggestions according to their experiences.

Exam Structure :

There are three sessional exams and one main exam per semester. On the basis of these exams the final result is declared. It is compulsory to take atleast two sessional exams. The examination schedule is not hectic at all and it gives enough time to the students to prepare well.

Admission :

I entered the university through my JEE score. But UPTU marks were also taken into consideration for the admission process. Since it is one of the best private universities in Lucknow, good score was the criteria for the admission to any of the courses that they offered. When I visited the university in Lucknow, the management team assisted me in every way possible. They guided me and answered every query that I and my parents had.

Faculty :

The faculty members are very supportive. They are experts in their respective fields. Apart from the course studies, they are always ready to help out the students in their projects and new ideas. But, at the same time, attendance should also be maintained by the students.
