- Course structure was good and well developed with all the major computer topics covered.
- Staffs were friendly to talk and used to get a homely feeling in the college.
Dislikes
- The exam used to conduct very late almost took an extra year to complete my course.
- The computer labs were pathetic with old box computer and even we rarely did lab in our time.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I am very passionate about computers and coding line. I love to develop apps and websites. The faculty was not more than the students but they were somehow supportive. The teachers were well qualified although their teaching method was not so good, need a lot improvement in that. I was from the COVID-19 batch so exams were conducted very late, our session was 1 year late due to which I am facing a lot of issues. But I have heard the sessions are now back on track, exams are conducted timely.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is not so high, It is as good as the government colleges should be and there is also not so much of a fee hike but I must say the fees they charge for labs and development are a waste because the conditions of labs are apathetic and not much of development. And also there is no placement cell so dont hope for placements.
Campus Life :
The campus life was very boring nothing to do much except play cricket on the ground. Fest happens rarely and most of the students dont even get to know whether the fest ever happened or not. Dont have much hope for campus life in this college.
Admission :
There was an entrance written exam of 100 marks consisting of maths, physics, and computer questions. You have to pass your 10th and 12th with more than 65% in order to take the exam. You can find the application form in the Patna University(PU) official website. The application fee was around Rs 1200.
Interview Experience :
There were 100 questions in the written exam of which 40 questions were from Maths, 40 were from Physics, and 20 were from computer after the written exam students were shortlisted for the personal interview round where they were asked questions from their 12th subjects. I just revised my 12th notes before the exam and it went quite well.
