The college is placed inside the Information technology.
They transport facilities are available because of the TCS.

Dislikes

Food provided in the canteen , Maintainece of the bus is not proper

Course Curriculum Overview :

The courses such as computer field student in our college has high strength especially Cse and it course have more strength but there is no strength in civil dept only 5 members are from civil courses .

Class Size : 800Course Fees : INR 60000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

In our college, we have a minority scholarship and the students who came from the government quota have a separate scholarship and the management helps us to get the scholarship. They provide internships with a stipend and the companies who provide internships are Lenovo, Open Wave Technologies etc.

Campus Life :

Annually they conduct events such as cultural and various events like ethnic day, sports day, symposium, and various events. They create associations such as student associations for the management skills of the students.

Admission :

There are two mode of joining the college Through management quota they are been insisted to get the seat prior for the Computer field courses because of highly demand . Through counselling also they are preferred to join the college with a cutt off of 173 BC.

Average college but a good place to study on your own

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
