Course Curriculum Overview :

MBBS is usually a 5-and-a-half-year course including 1-year compulsory internship. Faculties are usually qualified practicing doctors themselves. Finals exams are held after completion of that particular year and they vary as 1st proff is usually 13 months 2nd proff usually 11 months 3rd proff 14 months, etc.

Internships Opportunities :

After 4 years of completion, 1 year of mandatory internship is there. You also get a stipend during that duration. Many research opportunities are also available but students should be keen on doing the task.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

It is on average 18lacs including hostel, mess, tuition, and miscellaneous. Hostel fees vary according to occupancies and ac and non-AC services. Gym and electrical appliances are charged extra. Whereas in the last half year, the fees are just half. I got no scholarships. You get fees of thousands in your internship year as well.

Campus Life :

There are frequent sports events held like football, cricket, kabaddi, etc. Fest is held every year. But outings are permitted on Saturdays and Sundays but food delivery apps are available and hence it's kind of good. There is a library with good amount of books.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel has single and double occupancies with ac, non-ac, and cooler rooms. Mess provided food 4 times a day with decent food quality. You can rent a room outside but have to pay hostel fees and hence most of the students avoid staying out.

Admission :

Admission is purely based on the result of the NEET UG exam. The cut-off varies every year and for sc/st, obc, and pwd people, there is a lowered cutoff as compared to the general category. The admission process usually starts in a month after the result of the new UG is out across the nation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is a clinical based professional course so when I was opting for this course I had to make sure I get a very good patient load to boost my clinical learnings. The learning is totally based on patients so its practical. We have so many labs and modules for clinical based learning. Regarding exams we have weekly formative assessments and three terminal exams and annual professional exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As a medical student , I think people mostly have a myth that they don't do anything rather than studying and have no personal time but that's not really true. I know that the amount of time we give to studies is far greater than any other course but being in a good college like Subharti offers many opportunities like projects and competitions to have a fun way of learning our subjects , their is community medicine postings and being with friends really eases all the burden.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In India doctors are still considered to be next to God. They save people's life. The prestige that is associated with this profession is magnificent and also this gives you an opportunity to help your society and take care of people and save their lives. Though this comes with a lot of responsibility but the amount of satisfaction that you get when you see that you have cured someone and they are happy and living because of you , makes it bearable. The student: faculty ratio is good. There are more than 500 professors, each excelling in their subject. The teaching occurs in classes where you're told everything about the theory through presentation and then there are practical classes in which you get to see and interact with the patients or see how the labs and all the investigations are done. There are 2 term exams in each year, and if you have been consistent enough throughout the year you can easily pass them.
