- greenery in the campus is pretty good and is situated on the outskirts of the city which implies freedom from pollution.
- Ease in the curriculum and also the they are very strict about the short attendance thing.
Dislikes
- I did not like the placements of the college at all.
- the curriculum designed is not upto date in these technology driven world.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because of my interest in computer programming and web development. faculty is to student ratio is nearly 1:10. all the faculty have postgraduate or Ph.D. degrees in specific subjects and have a good command over their subject. All the professors are friendly in nature and always welcome a doubt to clarify. All the term exams are conducted timely according to the academic calendar and exams are easy to moderate in terms of toughness.
Internships Opportunities :
Since it's been two years I did not remember the names very much for PGDCA students but for btech placements companies like tcs sometimes hire candidates from the college. As my course was more of theory so we did not do much to do anything like a task but were given to complete some tasks of HTML and others.
Placement Experience :
As it is a one year course one can sit in the placements in the near completion of the degree. very few good companies come for college placements because as we are not engineering students. Only very few companies get the placements from the rest all have different plans after degree. I am preparing for govt exams like ssc and cgpsc.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee for my one-year course is 16000. There are very less hostels in the college. for PGDCA there is no scholarship provided by the college one can go state government scholarships in their respective state portals. There are not very good companies visiting to college. very few come for the placements and hire the top rankers only after a few interview rounds.
Campus Life :
There are many fests organized in the college around the year which relate to tribal and cultural also which help the students to develop a keen sense of diversity. there is a huge library where one can find books in every field whether it be engineering, management or humanities. All the classrooms are fully furnished and equipped with a projector for the purpose of smart learning. Sports tournaments are organized throughout the year to boost the sportsmanship of students.
Admission :
To pursue post graduation one must be a graduate from any institute recognized under any board. Now you can apply for any course from the official website of the institute. The state government's rule of reservations is followed in admission. I want to see improvement in the processing of application forms from the college.
