Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose BBA because I realized that I didn't really have any aptitude for medicine and decided to go towards a path where my options would be a bit more open. The faculty: student ratio is one of the best in the state, which I estimate is about 1:6. The faculty is well-qualified and the main teaching method is through presentations, group assignments, and problem-solving, which is what one would expect in a classroom.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The cost to study is moderately high, as most people will likely opt for the hostel. The total fees at the end of the course amount to about Rs. 15 lakhs. KSOM gives a considerable scholarship to the top 3 rankers of each batch, for each semester. However, there isn't an impressive amount of support for placements for BBA.
Campus Life :
The social life at KIIT is amazing, Since, KIIT is a huge university, there are fests and events held nearly weekly. The annual fest of KSOM is called Kolosseum and is held around January-February and is the multitude of clubs and societies of the college. The library has AC and plenty of books and space for a student to prepare for their exams.
Hostel Facilities :
There are different kinds of rooms available, like two-bedded AC, two-bedded non-AC, and three-bedded AC as well as rooms with attached bathrooms. The rooms are comparatively spacious and there is plenty of space to store your stuff as well as decorate the room to your liking. A cleaner also services the rooms in the morning.
Admission :
The admission process for undergraduates involves giving the entrance examination known as KIITEE. A student can apply for the examination through the official website of KIIT. Getting into college is very easy and requires a basic coverage of GK and maths.
