Course Curriculum Overview :

I am very much interested in Biology and Maths, while I was exploring the departments and colleges I found that Biomedical Department at CIT satisfies my expectations and so I opted for this course. There is one 1 faculty for every 14 students and the faculties are all phd holders and few are pursuing their PhDs and they are all well-skilled and make our learning experience great.

Class Size : 63Course Fees : INR 35000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

From the first year college gives out holidays for the students to opt for internships and gain knowledge and experience on the same. Within college Startups present also provide internships for the students. They also encourage students to start their own company.

Placement Experience :

Students are given training and exposure to industries from their first year. The intensity of the training Enhances in their 3rd year. With full-fledged training, Students start their internship in their 2nd year and receive an offer letter before they complete their 3rd year and mostly students are given OD in their final year to work on their internships.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I have taken the merit scholarship at our college and it was very much useful to me. A scholarship was given and my fees were reduced by 60k which helped me financially. Currently, I am in my Final year and I am planning for higher studies. Overall my college has supported me a lot. They are still supporting me in finding a job with the required training and other stuff. They also provided me with other outside opportunities helping in gaining knowledge about my domain outside the campus.

Campus Life :

A Remarkable cultural fest of CIT is Takshasheela where students around the city gather and it goes for about 3 days. It ends with DJ night and disco night providing with fun-filled and thrilling experience for the CITIANS. Our Library has enormous books related to all the domains and journals are being updated and upgraded regularly. Classrooms are ventilated properly and it has been cleaned and maintained regularly by the cleaners recruited by our college. Not only academics but our college also supports students in other extracurricular activities. It's my provide to mention that I won the Individual Championship in the annual Sports Meet 2022. There are many clubs that include content writing, language clubs, sports clubs, robotics and many other centres of excellence that work on providing a better experience for us.

Admission :

Students should be a student with Maths, physics and chemistry and pure science students cannot take our course. Application forms will be available on the college website and fees and other details will be available on the website. I have not used reservation benefits. I have joined through Anna University Counselling.

Average college but a good place to study on your own

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
