Remarks :

Everything was great and the two years of my student life spent over here was full of excitement and enjoyment. I made a lot of friends at HPU which are still in contact with me.

Entrance Preview :

HPU-MAT (University Level Exam/Admission) Exams were tough and happens to occur two times in the year. The time for preparation was not that much and the answers were usually lengthy. The exam hall was full of all facilities

Course Curriculum Overview :

It is identical to what most b-schools have. The faculty is a mix of good and bad. If the student is willing to put in extra effort, one can gain knowledge from the good faculty, but it is totally dependent on the initiatives of the students...Seniors were very good and friendly. They helped us in our curriculum and always took care of juniors and we'll as grand juniors. It was a lovely environment over there.

Internships Opportunities :

I have done my internship in kasol camps and for 25weeks . And I learned a lot their. New destinations teaks hikes and advature tourism. Promotion of destination.

Placement Experience :

Campus placements are minimal due to very few companies visiting the campus. Organising job fair etc by student effort sometimes brings more opportunities. Average package offered is 3 - 5 Lacs per annum.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

the fee structure is inexpensive for the general students because it is a govt. College fee ranging from Rs. 5000 to 10000 for the entire MBA. For the management quota students, the fee ranges from 2-2.5 Lacs...

Faculty :

The Faculty was upto the mark. They were. Experienced enough to teach and make us all understand evey topic of our curriculum. We learnt a lot from them...

Course outline are really good and they prepare you for relevant industry skills and knowledge. It is designed specifically to provide edge to the students in early season of summer internship and placement. Exams are not difficult and generally requires to apply theoretical knowledge into real world problems

Placement Experience:

As the MBA program at IIT Mandi is relatively new, the first batch is currently undergoing placements. The institute's dedicated Career and Placement Cell indicates a commitment to facilitating placements for students. While specific placement statistics may be limited for now, the focus on creating a structured placement process suggests that the institution is proactive in ensuring employability for its graduates. In the absence of detailed placement data, students can leverage the support of the placement cell and actively pursue opportunities aligned with their career goals post-graduation.

Placement Experience:

Our college placement committee is very dedicated and they are also very supportive. The committee guides you and assists you throughout the placement process. Companies like Honda, Procter & Gamble, Yes Bank, Citi Bank, ITC, Cipla, Indigo, visit the campus. As the placement packages are not so huge but according to the status of the college and according to the program fee, the placement is worth it. The highest package for our batch was around 12 LPA and the lowest was 7 LPA.

After 3 terms students are eligible for final placements. Many companies visited the campus for final placements. Generally, 97-99% of students get their placements. My plan is to work in an MNC to grow as an investment banker.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is very good in terms of placement and the faculty is very good the faculty to student ratio is a little bit low it is 22/1 the college is going through the death of faculties but it is going to work on it and with the time the situation will get better and qualification of the faculties, of course, all are very qualified all have PHP in their respective departments and if I talk about exams were twice in a semester first as a midterm examination with the weightage of 40% and rest as a final examination with the ratio of 60% the difficulty level is moderate if you can easily pass if you read one or two our daily or you can go for binge night study before 2-3 days of
