- The strictness of all I guess , all of the faculties and staff are too strict here
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course as I'm interested in AI since my childhood. It was very fascinating to me. When I got to know they have AIML as specialisation I didn't even think for a minute and chose it. The faculty: student ratio is quite sophisticated, no class is ever left unattended by the faculties. Their teaching style varies from professor to professor but overall it's enough to understand the concept. All of the faculty is highly qualified. Midterms are held after every 2-3 months, they're easy but the finals are quite difficult.
Placement Experience :
From the 5th semester, students become eligible for placements. Several companies visit and they offer students who have qualified their selected criteria for selection. The highest package ever was 1.12 crore per annum and the average package varies from 2 to 3 lpa. In the case of students who weren't selected for campus placement, they can appear in off-campus placement or start their own start-up which the college supports. The yearly percentage of students getting placed is somewhere from 85-90 %. After getting my degree am most likely to appear for an off-campus placement.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure, compared to other colleges and universities especially IITs and NITs, is quite good as it's not costly but not cheap either, they demand a reasonable amount. Scholarships are only provided to ST/SC/OBC students and not the General category which I think isn't fair enough. We general category students also need financial support.
Campus Life :
Srishti fest is conducted every 2-3 years in the month of April-May while every year there are several hackathons , engineering Olympics and what not for students to participate and that's beneficial to add on in resume. Books are provided by the central library and they're in good condition. Further fine is charged if you fail to maintain them. All the classrooms are provided with projector screen and sound system. There are several students' clubs and groups.
Admission :
I called the given number in the lnctu.in the website and then they called me back to know which course am interested in. Then they asked me to come to campus and complete the admission process. I went to campus in a week, submitted 10% of the total fees and then after my whole fee was submitted I further filled out the admit form to acquire my roll number and other details of class.
