Course Curriculum Overview :
In bsc agriculture hons the course structure is semester based there are a total of 8 semesters for the 4 yrs course. With the increase in the population of the whole world demand for agriculture is also improved and it's a very promising field. In our class, there are 122 students each we have 10 subjects in our first and second semesters. faculty here are highly educated, dedicated to the education and personal development of the students, classes are very regular and we have a hybrid mode of teaching both online and offline. Lectures are provided in Igkv's official web page to students.
Internships Opportunities :
As igkv is the main campus here internship opportunities are provided by the college and many monthly workshops are also provided for the agri students, as well as selected farmers and agri field officers. after bsc some companies came to college offering jobs and internships.
Placement Experience :
During the 4th-year placements provided some private companies came to hire. They offer approx, 20000-30000 monthly to bsc graduates and higher for MSc and PhD scholars. but I prefer to prepare for the NABARD exam instead of placement after bsc.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As it is a govt college we have very reasonable fees compared to what quality of living and education we are getting. Govt. also provide study materials and scholarship to the ST, SC, and OBC students once a year. for seniors, stipend jobs are provided to 4th-year students by the college. they have to do rural extension work there basically it is a type of internship.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is very enjoyable here you will get all the facilities that you need such as a gym, sports, library, free wifi, fest, annual functions, agri carnival, college tours, and a lot more. e- Krishi is an official college app developed by IGKV for students it provides all sorts of study material that we need and results are declared on the webpage and in the app.
Admission :
Yes, for the admission in govt. agriculture college you have to qualify for the entrance exam. YOU have to qualify for STATE EXAM CGPAT-UG. All the candidates from a science background are eligible for the entrance exam, candidates have to first fill out an application form online which is free of cost, and appear in the entrance exam.
