Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course as it is an upcoming career option. The faculty has experience in the professional field and have had several years if experience prior to joining. The faculty:student ratio is 1:10 and most of the studio classes consist of at least 4 faculty for a class of 40. The design exams at the end of the every even term were long and tiring whereas the sessionals were usually wrapped up within a week.

Internships Opportunities :

The placement has been brought about recently and as the course curriculum has been changed the internship is now provided in the 8th semester rather than the 6th. The college provides a list of companies with their pros and cons as there have been cases of students not being able to continue with a particular company. The stipend provided ranges from 5k to 10k as per the companies and locations.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees is increased every year as the general category student paid 190000 rupees in 2020 compared to the present 250000 rupees. The fee structure for the NRI student is also different in terms of USD they pay more than the general category. The college has a variety of scholarship opportunities and I have earned a merit /topper scholarship earning me 36000 rupees every year.

Campus Life :

We have a lot of fests conducted within the campus but for the architecture campus, we have fests like Opus, Avant, and equinox. Opus is the main fest where the distribution of prices and awards are done whereas the other events are to showcase the talents within the college with dance and fashion events. The library is huge but only consists of literature on design, architecture, and fashion. Classrooms are decked with tables for drafting and corkboard for presentation. There are a variety of clubs within the campus for Acting, Design, Fashion Shows (Artemis), and Music (Ailaan).

Admission :

The application form and fee structure is available on the university site. The admission process was flawless as the entrance exam was conducted online and we were then contacted via phone once we were selected. The application required us to have basic sketching skills and understanding. A statement of purpose is also required.

They don't have written assignments, we only have assignments and jury, and there is practical study more than theory, it prepares you really well for the real world and actually teaches you how hard it is to be a designer we have assignments every week which has marks and 1 jury every semester

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is affiliated with Bangalore North University. Hence the syllabus is a bit rigid. They teach us beyond the syllabus, which is relevant for the industry. There are workshops conducted on a regular basis to enhance our knowledge.

Placement Experience:

There is some issue in placement, though we get placement the scope for the future through these placements are not that great. Many students fail to get proper placements. The scope or plan for many students is to try and open a new brand or collaborate with other students to create a new brand.

Remarks:

The adminstration of Srishti can actually improve. Another good thing about Srishti will the wellness team. We have proper experienced people here with whom we can share our educational or personal problems and stress. All of this is confidential information and doesn't go out. We are supposed to call our facilitators by their first name only, no Sir or Ma'am. This actually promotes professional behaviour.

Remarks:

I completed my graduation from Vogue Institute last year. The management and faculty are very helpful and understanding here. However, a little focus can be given on the quality of the mess food.

College and management alike are the best you could ask for. I don't think one can be let down as they never fail to exceed expectations. The wellness team makes sure of that.

Placement Experience:

Jobs and placements are all depends on your work , skill , talent and your portfolio. Some companies approches you , but srishti also insist that we approach new companies. If we are awesome we can get the best placements in some of the great companies.
