  • Strict with the timing of the entry of students
  • The rules should be more loose for the students sometimes its a bit much pressure for them

Course Curriculum Overview :

I like business courses and I had an interest in these topics. 1:50 is the faculty and student ratio. Teachers are well qualified and the teaching method is also easy to understand. PPTs are there to make the students much more comfortable with the subject topics. In one semester there are 2 internals and 1 end semester exam and it would be tough if you don't follow the regular classes. Teachers provide notes and most questions are from there only.

Internships Opportunities :

Many insurance companies and marketing companies come to the college for internships and various types of jobs are there for the students to learn new skills and different knowledge gaining. There is an international project that every student has to do to pass the semester.

Placement Experience :

From 5th semester students are eligible for applying to campus placements. WIPRO, TCS, COGNIZANT, HDFC BANK, ICICI BANK, AMAZON, AND many more companies come and visit and hire the students. I am applying for the campus placements and hope to get a job through that and if not, I think I can bag one job off campus with the various soft skills and academic skills I've got from the college itself.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

In my opinion, Fees are neutral. Can be high for some but mostly it's affordable to pay. And scholarships are also available for underprivileged students which cover from 50 % to 100% of fees and other financial assistance is also there.

Campus Life :

There are at least 4 to 5 annual and tech fests in IEM like NIRVANA or DISPUTANDUM, etc. The classrooms include huge spaces and air conditioning and have computers and projectors. Libraries are great and have enough books for students to read and books are free every semester but you have to give it back after the semester ends. Football, basketball, cricket, and table tennis are there in the college and have separate groups for that. Except for those there are finance club, HR club, drama club, marketing club, photography club, etc.

Admission :

Eligibility is 60% in your previous 12th exams. In the official website of the institution, the application can be done offline and online. Offline numbers are there on the official site too. The offline process would be more friendly and a fast process should be there.

Placement Experience:

The college does provide us placements and I have heard from the seniors that we shouldn't completely rely on the placements. The average placement is about 3,50,000 per annum. And the highest package for BBA was 15lpa secured by a student. The college separates the students who really want the placement from the ones who don't want it. And then focus on the ones who need placement to work on them and on their skills. The college says they provide 100% placement assistance.

Remarks:

I choose this university because it was a well reputed university in Kolkata. My elder sister was studying her engineering from the same university and gave positive reports. The faculty and the environment for studying are really great. And I choose BBA as my course because I was interested in studying business from a very small age.

Remarks:

Positive this about the college is as follows 1. Location 2. Transportation or communication is good bus auto availability 3. Teachers and these are pretty cool the admission department is really helpful and teachers very helpful do need to worry about regarding this. 4. canteen facility 5. Bick stand 6. colleges part of makaut University should we need to worry about our examination or our result 7. Wifi 8. Availability of books in library 9. good class rooms 10. Best college environment. Negative 1.75% attendance is mandatory to maintain just because we have to attend internal exams if you don't have 75% attendance then we are not allowed to attend the examinations internal and external both sometime and huge amount of pressure of assignments and PPT because as its contained content external marks also but it's not a bad thing but still it's a lot so pressure. 2. the fee structure is good but sometimes due to some kind of financial problems if you are not able to submit in time then you have to pay use amount of fine.

Remarks:

The college encourages students to take part in events and social events by a special credit system associated with these events. Every student has to meet this credit system's requirements, to get their final degree and security deposit. The college does not give any fresher party or farewell to it students.
