  • College admin could become better and should listen to student queries seriously.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is up-to-date with industry case studies and overall very informative. The 2-year academic tenure at IIM Bangalore is highly rigorous for the students which leads to the creation of an overall competitive environment.

Internships Opportunities :

More than 100 companies visit IIM Bangalore for summer placement recruitment every year. These companies offer internship roles in Finance, Consulting, Product Management, Sales, Marketing, General Management, and Analytics mainly.

Placement Experience :

IIM Bangalore provides placement assistance to all students. In 2022, during the final placement season, more than 180 companies of high repute visited the campus and offered more than 660 full-time roles to the PGP batch.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tuition fees are 23 Lakhs for two years which is somewhat on the upward side. Mess and hostel fees are 30,000 per trimester. Usually, the tuition fees are hiked every 2-3 years. Students with family incomes less than 8 lakhs annually are eligible for financial assistance.

Campus Life :

The campus life at IIM Bangalore is very happening. There are more than 35+ clubs and societies of various functions and domains where candidates are admitted based on interviews and interests. A rule is formulated by the Academic Committee that no student can be a part of more than 1 club and 1 society throughout his/her tenure at IIMB.

Hostel Facilities :

Each student is provided with a single occupancy hostel room. There are old hostel blocks and new hostel blocks. There is one campus mess for all the students, be it from PGP, PGPBA, FPM. Mess Food is of high quality and the variety in menu is quite exhaustive. Students are allowed to opt out of hostel in second year but mandatory to live-in in the first year.

Admission :

IIM Bangalore should reduce the weightage of 10th and 12th standard marks. School-level academic credentials sometimes become a roadblock for potential candidates who might not have performed well in high school.

Interview Experience :

IIM Bangalore conducts Personal Interview and Written Ability Tests post the CAT results are announced. WAT usually asks candidates to write their viewpoints on any current topic from the political, economic, or any other field which is crucial at a macro level.

Placement Experience:

Just after the 2nd semester the placements start. Companies like Deloitte,PWC,EY,KPMG,Broadride,Storeking, trivago,My Captain,Indusland Bank, HDFC bank,Factset, Genpact,Cadbury,Manipal Hospitals and many more companies come for placement. The highest package in my opinion may be around 8.4 lpa and average would be around 5 lpa. The profile offered were mostly Finance analyst, Tax Consultant and marketing. Idk the exact percentage but mostly everyone gets a placement. I would join Deloitte after I receive my offer letter.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum from the university is transferred by the teachers in a digestive manner with all relevant example , live scenarios, case study activities and much more. The exams on average come after 3 months of a semester commencing , the difficulty towards the exam itself is moderate.

Placement Experience:

Placement Cell is very hardworking and they do provide placement support for all specializations but most of the jobs that are offered are marketing or customer support roles so it's always encouraged to look for job opportunities through other sources as well.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are excellent in Indus Business Academy. Alot of good companies come to the college for the placement and almost all the student get placed in a good company. iIf the student has payed attention in the classes and the tasks assigned then getting into a company is not difficult. The students start getting placed soon after the completion of first year. Compainies like Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, Colgate, Bata , GT and other good companies come to the college every year for the placements every year. The average package offered by the companies is 6.5 CGPA and it may increase this year. The student placement is 100%. I have also been selected in Deloitte for tax profile.
