Remarks :

Nothing I can Change. It's a different journey for every person. Everything can be improved to a certain extent.

Entrance Preview :

I took NIFT2012. The exam was quite interesting. It was a combination of maths,verbal skills and drawing skills .You have to be innovative. I had many options in Design and I took Fashion. The best Nift centers are Delhi Mumbai and Bangalore

Course Curriculum Overview :

It's quite good . Foundation -Everyone studies together irrespective of their fields.It's about developing basic skills in terms of design and art and knowledge . 2-4th year-You work of your chosen fields. We learnt everything from illustration to fabric cutting.

Internships Opportunities :

There are 2 internships. 1.After 3rd year.For 2 months. You are supposed to find your own internship. Most of them are unpaid. Whichever pays the amount does not exceed 10k . Which is quite reasonable given the lack of experience of the internees. 2. Final Internship. The experience depends upon the companies themselves. You are on your own.These internships are enough for you to learn about the basics of the business.

Faculty :

They know their subjects quite well. I do wish they did not promote partiality and were more global minded. SOME faculties are extremely good and you'll enjoy every single lecture. They prepare you for the industry in the best way possible.They are quite good in their own way. Also in fashion no one can teach you anything. You have to learn yourself.

My Journey at NIFT Hyderabad

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was relevant which has further improved manifold recently adding a range of subjects like those related to physical and mental fitness, AI, machine learning etc and during internships we are supposed to do projects which integrates the knowledge of these subjects to solve industrial problems. The curriculum is semester based with exams at an interval of every 6 months.

Placement are okay. People do get placed here, but the frequency and the packages are low. If one has acquired talent to go off campus, the chances are good. Personally, I will myself go for campus placement, hoping for good package.

Remarks:

I could say it's the best college in Hyderabad to take up the design courses.
