Course Curriculum Overview :

Human behaviour is something that interests me and I came to know and learnt about this field through Google. This is the reason I chose psychology. Teachers handle the class effectively and they possess the required knowledge about the subject, apart from academics they provide emotional and social support. They provide a safe and non-judgmental place to vent. Exams are conducted regularly and syllabi are completed as same.

Class Size : 49Course Fees : INR 50000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Teachers encourage the students to take part in internships and get a hands on experience. They also offer guidance for doing reasearch papers apart from the curriculum. I have presented papers at various conference which will have as plus in my future progress.

Placement Experience :

Placements are generally available from the final year and internships are available from the second year. Our departments organize regular seminars and guest lectures to develop our interpersonal skills and train us professionally. My future plan is to get a Master's degree in psychology.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is kept nominal, and there are a lot of scholarships available. Staffs update us regularly when there is any scholarship available for us and give detailed instructions on how to enable and access it.

Campus Life :

It is serene life on campus. I am part of the dance team and made use of this opportunity to connect with other department's students and teachers. Our department runs our PSYCHE club and has organised a fest and interdepartmental competition. A lot of books are available and journals are easy to access. And e-book access is also provided in the college.

Admission :

The admission process was very simple, both online and offline mode is available. I applied online and receieved call from the college to move the application process further. Helpline executives handled the calls and queries regarding the process effectively as far bachelor's degree there is no entrance exam.

Hidden stories of my College

Placement Experience:

For placement selection students should not have arrears on his history and also get 70% of marks to select in placement from third they start a placement section and practice for our placement there are many companies visited like Zoho, Accenture and aerospace aviation etc... The higher package was 70 lacks per year package and the average package was 2.5 lacks per year offered in placement and the company.My plans is to study PG After my graduation .

Placement Experience:

There wasn't much support for people who studied in psychology department because the placement was for sales and bpo sector nothing much was available for us. 5th and 6th sem that is the last sem was the time when students were eligible for placement. Skolar, mahathi soft tech, rnd softtech and offers were there were local companies. Highest package was 5 to 6 LPA and the average package was 2 LPA. 30 to 50 percent of students got placed. I am working as a Language trainer.

Placement Experience:

The placements are best in this college. VIT Is known for Its placements and the highest package is 88LPA with average 8LPA. TOP MNC companies come here and companies like GOOGLE, Microsoft, Intel hire students. If incase on campus placement was not offered then also there would not be much problem because the skills that are taught in the course are advanced and it is easy to get a job with all these skills. The fourth semester students are usually eligible for placements usually the onces who have Completed their total number of credits. Since our course was started, 2 batches passed out, the highest package was 22LPA by intel and last batch out of 45, 25 were placed with many in intel with more than 14+LPA. After getting the degree, my plan is to work with a startup company for 2 years and then get experience.
