Campus of the university. It has a modern building structure and high facilities to enable students to grow individually

The weather in Dimapur. It’s toooo hot during the summers
Students performance. Some of the students are really careless and carefree about their grades as the university is very lenient

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose political science as my course because that's what I wanted to pursue. The university has well-qualified teachers and administrators headed and assisted by fathers. The teaching method differs individually. Some teachers are very professional while some might neglect them. We had interval exams and the exams weren't that tough. It isn't a hard task to get a pass mark as teachers are lenient in checking and considerate.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 11500 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There are various kinds of internships from various sources that people can avail of. There are students that come for internships and for getting experience. The university has a really good spacious compound and a modern building structure. The students and teachers are also very cooperative and considerate and diligent in their roles. The university offers many various courses.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is quite decent and doesn't differ from the other colleges in the northeast. The arts course cost around 11000 to 20000. While other science and management courses cost more. There are also scholarships that you can avail of if you're qualified enough.

Campus Life :

The university organises events and competitions every now and then inviting other colleges to interact and compete with one another. The library is well equipped and has all sorts of required books and references for the students. The classrooms have smart boards where teaching is done online using the net facilities. There are various clubs and groups that students can join or their interest

Admission :

I got direct admission without any entrance exams or interviews. I just filled out the application form and got admitted. They take in students that are average performers, they didn't have much specific cut-off for the eligibility of admission to the university. You can do the admission online on their official website or even do it offline at the entrance office counter. As for improvement, I would suggest the university be a little more standardised in admitting the quality of students.

University Unfiltered: the highlights and the hiccups.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always loved the concept of poetry and literature in my high school days. I had long made up mind I would pursue this course. I never looked back. I think it depends on the individual how well this course helps him but I think it's aa great course because it inculcates thinking abilities in the students. I think the management should make arrangements of the curriculum according the time frame allotted per semester and maintain a strict action against faculties who do not impart the knowledge on their students. During our final semester exam, the exam was so rushed that we were hardly given holidays in between so how is a student supposed to study and prepare for the course of 6 months in three months and write exam on the 4th month.

I myself as a students with political science as my honours. i can proudly say that political science professors are the best. The outer knowledge they impart besides our syllabus is top notch.
