Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose civil engineering due to my interest in high rise structures and big construction projects. In our department, there are around 8 faculty of civil engineering and 6 faculty of applied mechanics. All the professors are either BE, ME or Ph.D. Graduates. Our department took 1 mid-exam before the university exam and it was quite challenging exams to pass.

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 5000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

In our course. We are instructed to do an internship 2 times during our whole course. Once during the 7th sem which is 15 days internship and once in the 8th sem which is 12 weeks or more internship. Our Institute also helps us in finding an internship at a different places and according to our liking.

Placement Experience :

We have placement of different company at the starting of sem 8. This year companies like Reliance, Adani, essar, blue chip, etc, each and every student are given the opportunity to take part in placement cell and according to their talent and knowledge students are selected for companies. A minimum package of 3 lakhs per annum is provided in the placement cell.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Overall cost of civil engineering in gec, surat is around 4000 per year. Scholarships were also provided by the government of India in which our faculty members helpes us to get the benefits . Our Institute also provided us with internship opportunities and also placement cell.

Campus Life :

Life at the college campus is pretty good. we have quite a big campus. We have badminton courts, a volleyball court, a library, and other facilities. We have a cultural fest at the end of every even sem and everyone enjoys a lot during that time. we have a sports week every year of different sports and the winning team or individual is provided with medals and trophies.

Admission :

First I gave HSC exam and GUJCET exam and according to my score ACPC department provided me with a rank which was around 13000 and then I saw the colleges which has the merit of 13000 and I applied to the college of my liking and selected the civil engineering field.

From 8 semester students are eligible for campus placements. Well-known chemical industries like JB chemicals, Sun Pharma, Ami polymers, Jubilant, Aditya Birla etc. The highest package was about 4.5 lakh for chemical engineering was offered. About 97 percent of students got placed.

SVIT Vasad is one of the most famous colleges located near Vadodara city. Famous for it's placements amd academic records. The college campus is just 05 mins away from Vasad bus depot.
