Course Curriculum Overview :

I selected this course because I am interested in the construction area. Faculty to student ratio is 1:40. Faculties are PhD qualified. It is good. Exams are difficult but conceptual and professors are good to teach about the topics from the textbook and through ppt.

Class Size : 90Course Fees : INR 1500 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internship at GIC, the center is available from the 1st year itself. The college faculties also reach out to internship firms and companies. And helps the students to get the best opportunity. They make available job opportunities.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees are about 1500 for GTU college and gymkhana and lab fees are about 2000 to 3000 per semester. Scholarship and government schemes are very much helpful and available to many categories of students.

Campus Life :

Life is good at and on campus. The classes are a bit old but then the environment and nature of the college make up for it. The sanitary facilities could be better but it's alright as students mostly spend time outside the college and in the hostel as well. The library has lots of books for the students.

Admission :

Easy admission process through admin block. Reservation for sc/st, obc and ews available. College is a little jungle like with many trees all around so it can be made better. Else it is fine. A good college to graduate.

From 8 semester students are eligible for campus placements. Well-known chemical industries like JB chemicals, Sun Pharma, Ami polymers, Jubilant, Aditya Birla etc. The highest package was about 4.5 lakh for chemical engineering was offered. About 97 percent of students got placed.
