Course Curriculum Overview :

I was curious about the field and was interested in buildings/structures. For 1faculty:10 students, each subject 4 faculty. All teachers are having their degrees and Ph.D. and some are appearing for a PhD All the exams were in a timely happened but there all the work and assessments is done on time. Each student has a mentor to discuss with and can discuss with another mentor also which helps us to gain information from every point of view.

Internships Opportunities :

SSA, VK.A, CCBA, and Sunil Patil Architects, the group of companies these architectural firms offer internships for students of our college. 9k to 15k stipend is provided under internships. Tasks: architectural designing,3d modeling, site visits.

Placement Experience :

In sem 9th students are eligible for campus placements. Name of the companies offers Zaha Hadid Architects, Hafiz Contractor, AECOM, VK.A, Forster, etc. 80% of placements are provided for students. My plan after getting the degree is to explore companies doing job things and then start my own firm.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure was 110000 but due to the fee hike policy, there is a 5%increase in fees every year. Financial assistance in the form of fee concession is given to needy and deserving students. The college encourages students to apply for state or national scholarships. Campus jobs are given to students for exploring and experiencing architecture.

Campus Life :

The most awaited fest Cultural is done every year in the months of Feb and March. Library has 10,000 books available online and offline which includes e-magazine, research papers, every book related to architecture, etc. Led screens, WIFI, and CCTV are provided in each and every classroom

Hostel Facilities :

There is AC, and non-AC rooms, furnished, Girls and boys' hostels are different, it is according to your choice or affordability. The quality of food also depends on the packages according to which you prefer and there are many food shops nearby at backdated which are quite famous here. I have rented a room at the back gate of the college which more preferable for me.

Admission :

Generally, eligibility criteria for 70 +marks in Nata and PCM each 50% aggregate. Website: http://bvp.bharatividyapeeth.edu/index.php/college-of-architecturecollege-of-architecture-pune. No reservations.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a challenging course but it is also a holistic profession which includes equal amt. Of technicality and design eq which makes it a bit challenging. But it helps you with development of your skills and also helps you with personality development. You can achieve great heights in this course if you really are passionate about this field or else it will overtake your life and will make it more challenging.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is can be really complex because there are many subjects, but it can be fun when you're really focused and interested, Currently I have 11 subjects in 3rd year, but you have to be really good at time management, in order to succeed or get good grades and prepare a decent portfolio/resume for a better future/career.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The academic load is there but if at any point we have any difficulty in not completing the assignments, the faculty is understanding. It does affect the marks but you can always improve. The teaching schedule is planned and given to us. One main thing is that we started designing our own structures in first sem itself with plans elevations and sections and models of it. While the other colleges haven't done that.

Placement Experience:

From semester 8 student becomes eligible it is a period when the internships began. Students are getting placed in very good firms throughout the country and even a few of them are getting positions in foreign countries. Around 70-75% are getting hired every year but mostly based on their performance throughout the year. I'm not sure whether the companies come to college and pick students but yes students have options and opportunities to approach the firm and they certainly get placed. Even faculties are also good helpful and give the opportunity to join their firm itself.

Remarks:

The area around college is still developing and students need to travel around to find good hangout spots. They infrastructure is quite dull. They faculty are experienced but lack practicality.

Admission:

The admission is based on the NATA scores. The admission process is quite lengthy. You have to wait for the merit list.

Placement Experience:

The placement could be better. As is not able to manage placement activities in a proper way due to lack of management and managing personnel.

Placement Experience:

After a government college recognition and your portfolio work its easier to get a job. College doesn't do any placement. None of the architectural colleges do placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is good. It's putting in a lot of work, that's architecture though . Paractical learning is through site visits mostly. Any Electives can be chosen front the list provided by the university.
