Dislikes

  • I did not really dislike absolutely nothing about the campus if there are pros we all know that there are cons as well the world is not perfect so is the case for the college
  • Well nothing really that I disliked but some of the staff was really slow and unorganized our important documents were not taken into consideration carefully and nothing was really done to verify all the possibill documents that had to be taken.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose university of Delhi because their courses were considered very good for all arts based undergraduate courses and I'm very glad I did. History(Hons.) is a very specialized and important course of the university, although this was not the course that I was hoping to get but instead was hoping for psychology honours but was considered ineligible for it because of my score. University Of Delhi needs one to get a very high score to qualify psychology honours. The student teacher ratio is approximately estimated to be 1:3. The teachers are very highly qualified and get to teach in the college based on years of experience. Shabnam Ma'am and Simi ma'am who have been part of the faculty for approximately 15 years teach Social Formation in Ancient India and History Of Ancient and Medivial India. Majority of the teaching staff are Delhi University graduates themselves and gold medalists too. Exams were conducted regularly and one must have atleast 75? attendance and 4.5 CGPA to pass.

Fees and Financial Aid :

The fees of the University Of Delhi is usually very affordable and helps one in being able to study here without any excess cost. Being a Government College it has good administrative staff and college which helps every person being able to enroll for the given course only to be able to afford studying here, I pay around 19835 for a year of studying in this college which I feel is completely worth it. Our college has a library on the ground floor which has books from all the possible genres. The canteen unfortunately did not suit my taste, healthy foods were not present in the menu and all the available foods were very overpriced such as pasta, chilli potato, cakes and pastries. The college also has facilities for specially abled people it has provisions for an automatic escalative chair that helps people travel up and down the stairs conveniently. Also, there are scholarships available for people who have had a good CGPA approximately 9 or 8.5

Campus Life :

Ranjit Gill, National level Hockey player, Asha Thakur, Delhi State National level hockey player, Kamlesh Bisht, National level Hockey player. Ms. Dolly Aluwalhia Tewari, Ms. Shilpa Gupta, Priyanka Nirupam, Tanya Chamoli, A renowned Dancer,Choreographer and YouTube sensation who has choregraphed with and for many bollywood dances and worked with a number of celebrities and her dances are now sensations and grooved to on a number of songs all across the internet. University Of Delhi is well known for its fests, Mata Sundri conducts an Annual fest Called Sarang every year in the month of February which is a celebration of the college it's faculty an ode to all the girls. Every Sikh festival is celebrated with massive pomp and haertiness along with the mandatory Langars. The college has the NCC building and guiding strong women to grow and become efficient. There are poetry clubs called the InkStinct, the History Society and the psychology club. The library is phenomenal. So is the mainte

Admission :

I was admitted into the college thought the CUET exam i.e. Common University Enterance Test which you can write once you have cleared your 12th grade board exams. After applying for CUET through the NTA website (National Testing Agency) if someone is from the general category they must pay an amount of approximately 1300 rupees, post that you have to select the domain subjects, which means that the subjects that one wants to pursue a course in and one must have already passed those subjects already in grade 12 in order to give these exams. Then you get an option of applying for the universities/ colleges, you must choose them courses carefully and then go ahead. I gave the exam in July and August of 2022 and had an average score of 637/800 and applied for University of Delhi through their CSAS form which costed me approximately 250 rupees as from general category and 100 rupees for Reserved Categories. I got admission through the special spot round 1 in December 2022 after waiting.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The ba programe here is little different from other colleges accross the country. The curriculum is quite diversified. If you are intrested in arts , there is lot to learn. If one want to become writter or any thing related to literature , or want to become historian , geo-politics expert, etc. The course is quite good. The exams held every four and a half or five months and the difficulty level is moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Like this course is about rights and authorities which is very important for everyone nowadays and specially when you are a girl so that nobody couldn't dominate you. We read about what were the past sceniors towards the lower castes or women which is also happens in most of the states and cities but this curriculum taught us whats the reality of the world and how to be independent and how to protest for our rights . Even we can more learn about this if the faculity organises those things via presentation or streamings with some videos so it will be more helpful in our exams too!!

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum is not so good like it has to be a little bit easy because students come directly from school and the syllabus of college should be in relevance to the school curriculum in school we have been taught basic ncert books in college we are supposed to make reasearch papers and discuss on them suddenly very broad concepts come of which students get blank eventually one has to study themselves for good cgpa no examination scheme is explained by the teachers, even nothing is being informed about this
