Course Curriculum Overview :

Computer Engineering is the best course to choose because of the boom in the IT sector all over the globe. The Netaji Subhas University of Technology has an ideal faculty-to-student ratio. The faculty is well-qualified and the teaching style is a great fusion of the traditional way of teaching and the new digital way of teaching. Exams in NSUT are held timely twice a year (mid-sem and endsem) and are not at all difficult to pass due to the diversification of marks between practicals, internals, mid sem exam and end sem exams.

Internships Opportunities :

Almost all top MNCs Offer internship opportunities in NSUT for the role of software developer. The internship season starts after the 4th semester and lasts for 2 to 3 months. The stipend varies from company to company some companies offer upto 2 lakhs a month whereas some do not offer any stipend but offer experience

Placement Experience :

Starting from the 7th semester, Companies start visiting the campus for the placement season. Since NSUT is one of the best engineering colleges in Delhi, almost all top MNCs visit for campus placement with the highest international package of 1.08 cr. More than 95% of students from the CSE department get placed. I will personally take the placement after getting my degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee for BTECH for the session 2022-2023 was 219000 with an annual hike of 10000. There are various Scholarships and Financial Assistance schemes provided, Such as the Delhi E-District Merit Cum mean Scholarship.

Campus Life :

Moksha is the largest cultural annual fest at NSUT which is usually conducted in the month of March. Innovision is the annual inter-college, techno-managerial fest of NSUT. NSUT has a huge library block. All Books required for studies are present in the library. Classes for the first year are held at the apj complex. Apj complex is fully modern and air-conditioned. NSUT has a huge sports complex with facilities for all sports such as cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, basketball, gym etc.

Admission :

B Tech in Computer Engineering is a 4-year programme offered by the Netaji Subhas University of Technology. A general student must pass JEE MAINS with a percentile of 98.5 or more or a rank between 12 to 13 thousand to be admitted to B Tech COE NSUT. Category students have a lower cutoff. JEE MAINS is conducted twice a year by the national testing agency, and enrollment typically begins in January. There is no maximum age for candidates to take JEE MAINS. The JEE MAINS 2023 test is open to all applicants, regardless of age, who pass the class 12 or equivalent exam in 2021,2022, or who are appearing in 2023.

Delhi technological University - A Rolarcoaster of emotions

Placement Experience:

After the end of third year placement season starts that is an the end of 6th semester. During the summer break companies start coming for placement and the placement drive takes place till March that is 8th semester end. A lot of companies visit DTU. The numbers can go as high as 300. The average package is also very good

Placement Experience:

At IIITD students become eligible for internships after 2nd year. First sem students also get a chance to get internship from UNIQLO. The company takes some students from first sem and offer them stipends and a trip to tokyo. The percentage of placements is good at IIITD but it went down during recession. The highest package offered is 55lpa domestic and 120lpa overseas and the avg package is 20-25 lpa. Approx 70% students got placed in year 2024

Placement Experience:

5th semester students are eligible for internships and 7th semester students are eligible for placements( full time offers) Many bigtech companies like Google, Microsoft, Uber, Salesforce, Intuit etc visit our campus and hiring rate is not that bad, depends upon the company's budget and students' calibre. Average package of our college varies between 13 lakhs to 19 lakhs and most of the companies come for software developer roles. Didn't planned yet
