Remarks :

College managemnt was still not upto the mark back then but i have heard all that has changed. In fact the college does provide placement and internship assistance as well. The good part was that the college is still away from bustling city life keeping t

Entrance Preview :

No entrance examination. Admission was based on markes scored in higher secondary examinations. There was both free and payment seat facility. The free seat was limited to domiciled candidates only.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum was fine and the course offered all the important subjects for the course distributed evenly across 4 years. There were all the major engineering branches offered. The first year was common across the board with the focus on applied science and engineering. From second year onwards it was course specific curriculum.

Internships Opportunities :

Internship was through personal contacts. There was not much internship help offered back then and off course no stipend. We had to arrange for summer internships on our own and since it was our initiative there was no stipend.

Placement Experience :

As above the college back then did not provide any placement assistance. I have heard that has changed for good now. I have heard now many software major visit the college for campus placements and offer jobs.

College Events :

There were many technical and cultural events such as fests, technical challenges, festivals etc. Students were also encouraged to participate in the fests and events being organized in other colleges.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Can't comment on the current fee structure as it would have changed for sure from 2003. But back then since for non domiciled students only payment seats were available, For middle class parents the course fees was still a significant dent on the savings.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No. The college did not provide any loan or scholarship facility to the student. However there was an option to switch or upgrade from your opted branch if you score good marks in the first year exam.

Campus Life :

Campus life was good as there were many events and activities that the college encouraged the students to participate. There was a decent mix of day scholars and residential candidates. The residential crowd was very cosmopolitan.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities was 6/10. Mess food was 4/10. The hostel mess was vegetarian, and there was a very limited variety of food that was served in a rotation basis. Also the mess was managed by the hostel trust and not the students.

Alumni/Alumna :

All the alumnus that i know of had to struggle a bit for jobs but after 12 years today more than 95% of them are doing quite good in terms of the job life. All of them are settled in some big brand companies. Many have gone on to become successful leaders after pursuing their mba from premier b schools. All in all very few of the alumnus i know of regret studying here.

Exam Structure :

Exam structure back then was annual but now its on semester basis. The classroom durations were of 45 minutes each and there used to be about 8 periods including labs each day.

Faculty :

Mixed - about 30% was really good and about 30% not upto the mark. Rest was average. Some of the faculty were pass outs from the same college and were really not qualified enough to teach us.

Placement Experience:

We have wonderful placement opportunists. We had an excellent placement officer for the coordination of placement activities. A lot of companies come and recruit students across all sectors. Pre-placement training is conducted which are helpful. Companies visited-Ace Micromatic, ESDS Software Solution Pvt. Ltd., Epam, ValueLabs, sender, Hexaware Technologies, SABA, Syntel, TCS, Amazon etc. My plans after degree- if I get the good package at the time of placement then I will go with the job. If I don't get a good package then I will do MS outside India.

College is quite nice but it should have been bigger than present. The college ground os quite small and have only basket ball and table tennis court but there should be one big ground where students can jog and play cricket, football etc.

If you want a chill life don't think of this college at all.But if you want placements n all then this is the right place but you have to study all of the time here and do numerous assignments on time .I suggest you not to take admission in this college. This is very strict college. You have to wear identity card to enter the college.

Remarks:

College management should help students in participating events like BAJA, supra, Firodiya etc more than they do now. Students are interested in things to do but lack of college management interest and support to them. Support students they will bring college further up.
