Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is designed to give students comprehensive knowledge about the hospitality sector and other sub-sectors related to tourism. It covers subjects like Food Production, F & B service, accommodation operations, front office operations, accounting, sales, and marketing, etc. The faculty members are highly qualified and have appropriate industry experience, they bring practical aspects of hospitality and tourism and train students accordingly.
Internships Opportunities :
College usually offers internships to second-year students, every student needs to do an internship to get promoted to the next year, usually, the whole batch is divided into summer and winter batches and accordingly they go for internships for 4 to 6 months. Stipend for this internship is not much but it gives you proper exposure to the industry.
Placement Experience :
For placements, the college is responsible for placing students for internships and final placements. Although it does not guarantee 100 percent placement, as most of the students do not sit for final placements, It offers around an average package of Rs 25000, usually, every student gets placed if they sit for placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees for this three-year program are roughly 3.5 lakhs excluding the hostel fees. It has various scholarship schemes based on academic rankings, for EWS, and category-wise, etc. Usually, banks provide financial assistance based on student needs and also as per college ranking.
Campus Life :
The campus provides a friendly and accommodating environment for students to learn and grow their skills. There are various events organized in college like food festivals, cultural fests, and also government events in partnership with MOT. The campus is located in the middle of the city, helping in commuting to any place very easily, also there are various clubs and committees for conducting various college-level activities.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities provide a comfortable and secure environment, students are responsible to make their food, helping them to practice bulk cooking, Students can also live outside the campus on rent or in PGs but being on campus gives you ample opportunities.
Admission :
The admission process starts with the application process for the NCHMCT JEE exam, followed by an online computer-based aptitude test that covers general maths, English, GK, etc. For eligibility, you need to have a minimum of 55 percent in the 12th standard and there is a reservation for each category.
