Course Curriculum Overview :

The course was holistic covering all facets of business, not sticking to general MBA courses, some courses like business ethics, and governance was included to get a broad perspective. electives in the first year are a good plus and there is no restriction on specialization. I can choose courses I wish in the second year, I can take a few from marketing few from finance, a few from analytics, and a few from public policy. we have a healthy student-to-faculty ratio and the quality of the faculty is top-notch. teaching methodology depends on the course, for some courses we have case-based learning which enhances our thinking perspective rather than having theory. exams happen every 5 weeks, though subjects are relatively easy compared with UG, question papers and the peer group make your life difficult.

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are similar to that placements, all major companies of all major verticals come on campus. most of the projects are life and give a flavor of working in the organization. The average stipend is overs around 1.5 lakhs.

Placement Experience :

we have summers, laterals, and finals. summers happen for 1st-year students and laterals for 2nd years who satisfy the criteria of minimum work ex and finals for all 2nd years. IIM B boasts one of the best placement statistics with a median hovering around 31 Lakhs per annum. we have the best companies in the domains of consulting, marketing, finance, Gen Man, Analytics, Prod Man, and many others. some companies are BCG, Bain, Google, TAS, ABG, Nestle, P&G, HUL, and American Express.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

cost of the course is around 27 lakhs, and ample banks provide collateral-free loans. Policy regarding the fee hike is under the jurisdiction of the administration, however, there is transparency. there are various scholarships provided by the college based on merit and other conditions, all the required information will be shared by the college once you join. most of the scholarships are sponsored by an alum of the college, some by the government of India and other state governments.

Campus Life :

Fests - 3 (Unmad, Vista, Eximius), Unmad - Cultural Fest and Vista, Eximius - Business Fests. Well Stocked library with access to most of the research and business journals. Classes are well equipped as per international standards and with all the modern amenities you can expect in a modern classroom. we have a dedicated sports complex and sports council which looks after the infra and events. we also have inter-IIM sports tournaments Sangram and Sangharsh. IIM B has the best sports facilities among all B Schools hand down. There are more than 30 clubs, all are student-run.

Hostel Facilities :

We have a dedicated Hostel and Mess Committee who look after the amenities and menu of the mess. we have a plethora of blocks, some being new some being old. although hostels are NON AC, Bangalore weather makes up for it. One doesn't need AC in IIM B hostels. food is relatively lot better. The menu is decided by the student body and they also have a feedback mechanism.

Admission :

I have given the CAT exam, and after that, most of the IIMs gave shortlists for the further process. IIM B, K, L, and CAP are the major ones. all colleges send mail regarding the application form, read the guidelines properly, and fill out the form. IIM B had a WAT process followed by an interview. During my time these 2 happened online, so they had intimated regarding the timings and the whole process went smoothly. Keeping it online made it more convenient for me.

Interview Experience :

I had WAT and PI, both conducted online. the WAT topic for me was "One Country One Election" challenges and opportunities. in 30 minutes I had to write a 200-word essay regarding the topic. I would say IIM B was my best interview experience, the panel consisted not only of faculty but also an alum, an SOP needs to be submitted before the interview and that gives them a fair idea of who you are, there was no room for boring questions. the quality of questions was also excellent, most of the questions was for them to understand what kind of a person I am. Case-based questions and situation-based questions are a norm in IIM B Interviews.

Just after the 2nd semester the placements start. Companies like Deloitte,PWC,EY,KPMG,Broadride,Storeking, trivago,My Captain,Indusland Bank, HDFC bank,Factset, Genpact,Cadbury,Manipal Hospitals and many more companies come for placement. The highest package in my opinion may be around 8.4 lpa and average would be around 5 lpa. The profile offered were mostly Finance analyst, Tax Consultant and marketing. Idk the exact percentage but mostly everyone gets a placement. I would join Deloitte after I receive my offer letter.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum from the university is transferred by the teachers in a digestive manner with all relevant example , live scenarios, case study activities and much more. The exams on average come after 3 months of a semester commencing , the difficulty towards the exam itself is moderate.

Placement Experience:

Placement Cell is very hardworking and they do provide placement support for all specializations but most of the jobs that are offered are marketing or customer support roles so it's always encouraged to look for job opportunities through other sources as well.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are excellent in Indus Business Academy. Alot of good companies come to the college for the placement and almost all the student get placed in a good company. iIf the student has payed attention in the classes and the tasks assigned then getting into a company is not difficult. The students start getting placed soon after the completion of first year. Compainies like Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, Colgate, Bata , GT and other good companies come to the college every year for the placements every year. The average package offered by the companies is 6.5 CGPA and it may increase this year. The student placement is 100%. I have also been selected in Deloitte for tax profile.
