Course Curriculum Overview :
I've been interested in pursuing Graphic Design and so I opted for a BVA (Bachelor of Visual Arts) course on the same. The faculty to student ratio is pretty good as for the most part every student gets one-on-one time with the teachers for reviews and doubts. The faculty is qualified and experienced to guide students of different skill levels. The method of teaching is also great as it's a mix of theory and practical.
Internships Opportunities :
There are many internship opportunities available in the 4th year. I am currently in my 3rd year and will be doing an internship the next year. We participated in a Live Project with a new startup however and that was a great experience.
Placement Experience :
There's a 100% placement from the college. Students are usually given internship opportunities from the 3rd year and land a job in the 4th year. Many companies ranging from Tech to Beauty require designers to contact the college with opportunities.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are a few scholarship opportunities available for different students. There was also a scholarship available during lockdown time as a way to help those struck financially by COVID. There are also many internship opportunities that the college provides.
Campus Life :
The social life at the campus is really good as there are a wide variety of people to interact with. There are also a few annual events where we get to interact with everyone like Freshers Day and Ethnic Day usually conducted every November and Integration Day or Sports Day every December. The classrooms are equipped with projectors and there are occasional workshops conducted as a part of the course.
Admission :
I sent my admission application form as well as the Result Papers from previous years and then had to take a CAT (Creative Aptitude Test), on which the admission is mainly based. The process was pretty smooth and didn't take too much time.
