Course Curriculum Overview :

The first-year course is the same for all. From the second year, you need to choose electives that align with your Major and minors. Faculty members have good industry experience and there are many visiting faculties from IIM Bangalore, Symbiosis Pune, etc. Term exams are all application based and students need to be clear of all basic concepts to perform well in the exam.

Internships Opportunities :

Companies like Duke, ICICI, Team lease, Manyavar, Decathlon, MTR, and many more. The range of stipend for internships is from 15k - 90k. And roles like - management trainee, management intern, marketing intern, portfolio manager, etc.

Placement Experience :

Campus placements are okay. You cannot expect too much but what you get here is the same as compared to symbiosis Bangalore and other tier 2 colleges. There are a few loyal recruiters that come for internships and final placements and 100% of students are placed every time. With the highest package is around 22 LPA and the lowest is around 9 LPA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tuition fees for the year 22 are around 9 lakhs, apart from this if you opt-in for a hostel you have to pay hostel fees that include food and transportation costs also. Hostel fees are around 2.35 lakhs. There are no scholarships that I know of.

Campus Life :

Campus Life is okay. Not much happening, only one annual fest but there are a few clubs and committees that are active and allow you to learn and perform more. The library is good and the resources to study are also great, the classrooms are also good. There are a few cultural and sports activities which are done in the college.

Admission :

To get admission to the college you need to clear the NMAT exam. The exam can be given at home as well as in a center. The exam is an adaptive exam similar to GMAT. You can apply for the exam on the NMAT website by GMAC, after registration you need to go to the NMIMS website to apply for colleges (NMIMS - Mumbai, Bangalore, Navi Mumbai, Indore). The cutoff for the exam will be around 235 plus or minus 5 marks.

Interview Experience :

After clearing the NMAT cutoff, students are eligible for the next process which is the GDPI process. One has to prepare for a group discussion which is followed by an analytical writing test and after that, the student has to give a personal interview. Only after clearing all three rounds, the student is eligible for admission. The process takes around 4-5 hours depending upon the slots.

Just after the 2nd semester the placements start. Companies like Deloitte,PWC,EY,KPMG,Broadride,Storeking, trivago,My Captain,Indusland Bank, HDFC bank,Factset, Genpact,Cadbury,Manipal Hospitals and many more companies come for placement. The highest package in my opinion may be around 8.4 lpa and average would be around 5 lpa. The profile offered were mostly Finance analyst, Tax Consultant and marketing. Idk the exact percentage but mostly everyone gets a placement. I would join Deloitte after I receive my offer letter.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum from the university is transferred by the teachers in a digestive manner with all relevant example , live scenarios, case study activities and much more. The exams on average come after 3 months of a semester commencing , the difficulty towards the exam itself is moderate.

Placement Experience:

Placement Cell is very hardworking and they do provide placement support for all specializations but most of the jobs that are offered are marketing or customer support roles so it's always encouraged to look for job opportunities through other sources as well.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are excellent in Indus Business Academy. Alot of good companies come to the college for the placement and almost all the student get placed in a good company. iIf the student has payed attention in the classes and the tasks assigned then getting into a company is not difficult. The students start getting placed soon after the completion of first year. Compainies like Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, Colgate, Bata , GT and other good companies come to the college every year for the placements every year. The average package offered by the companies is 6.5 CGPA and it may increase this year. The student placement is 100%. I have also been selected in Deloitte for tax profile.
