Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course as I wanted to pursue Finance and MBA gave me plenty of opportunities to explore the field, and finally network with people. The faculty provides individual attention to students. The teaching method is very unorthodox. The exams are not difficult to pass but at the same time also not easy to score.
Internships Opportunities :
There are numerous internship opportunities offered by the college. The placement committee works very hard to bring the best Job Opportunities for the students. There are internships for students from all specializations.
Placement Experience :
In the 7th trimester, students become eligible for campus placements. The highest package offered was 22 lakh. The campus has a record of 100 percent placement. My plan is to gain experience from the corporate world and then apply it to start my own company.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes, I agree the fees are a bit high, 18 lakh for the 2-year program, but when you see the Return on Investment, you'll realize the return is far more than the investment. There are plenty of student loan options available for the program.
Campus Life :
The fest is called INFLUENCE and it is conducted in January. The classrooms have top-of-the-line technology and comfortable chairs for a great learning experience. The campus has various sports activities such as TT, basketball, golf, etc. There are plenty of clubs and committees run by students.
Admission :
The admission process had 2 rounds, the first was the entrance exam and the second was a personal interview. The entrance exam is called NMAT and the cut-off for the NMIMS Mumbai Campus was 229. The application form can be easily found if you search NMAT on Google.
Interview Experience :
There was no group discussion, just the interview round itself. The test pattern included three topics- Verbal Ability, Logical Reasoning, and Quants. I prepared for the process through a coaching center called Career Launcher.
