Life at sathyabama

Course Curriculum Overview :

I always hated science so I took commerce in the 12th grade which inspired me to take BCom for my higher studies. The faculties are very friendly. They teach very fluently. Exams are easy in universities all you have to do is get good grades which the faculties will help.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Sathyabama provides scholarship facilities for many students with good grades. Agaram foundation, anbu foundation, etc provide scholarships to a large number of students from middle-class and low-class families. The fee structure is quite average.

Campus Life :

The campus is very good filled with trees, grass, good buildings, and fresh air. Freshers' day, cultural, and many other internal and outer competitions are kept from time to time. Library access is too good with wifi facilities and a large number of book collections. The classrooms are excellent.

Admission :

There was no entrance exam for BCom. If you have good grades you can easily get admission and also the eligibility was the completion of 12th grade with good grades. The admission process was so simple and friendly. We have to fill out an application form along with all the necessary details and submit it.

Placement Experience:

For the department of law there is minimal placements. One would need to approach numerous law offices and law firms requesting for employment before getting employed. The process is rather hectic and uncertain and therefore could use improvement on the side of the department.

Admission:

The institute takes admission in the the five year integrated law course based on the the performance in Common Law Admission Test that is CLAT . I also applied based on my CLAT score and set for the counselling. I was allotted a seat in the college in the the later rounds of the counselling. Since Vellore Institute of Technology is a popular institute I opted for it and completed the procedural formalities for admission.

Placement Experience:

VIT is known for its good placement rate and the same goes true when it comes to placement of law department. Campus drives are conducted annually and decent packages of around 4.8 lpa to 5 lpa are offered to students. However when it comes to internship students have to make efforts on their own as University doesn't provides that good options.
