My college - My happy place!

Dislikes

  • Since the college is located at the city (easily reachable) the campus size is not big.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I wanted to be placed in the IT sector so I have chosen my major to be in Computer Science. The faculty-student ratio is 20:1. Most of the facilities have completed their Ph.D. degree and some are pursuing it. The internals and models are conducted and the difficulty to pass is moderate.

Internships Opportunities :

Internship opportunities are offline as well as online. The internship training is been provided by the college. Students also get stipends while interning in companies. They gain good experience in learning and working.

Placement Experience :

The students are eligible for placements from the 5th semester. Many companies visit the campus for providing jobs. The average salary is of 25000 per annum. 90% of the students get placed by the companies visiting the college. Overall the placement training and opportunities is good.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The annual fee is around 50000 and it's considered to be not so costly. There are scholarship and internship opportunities for students who are eligible to avail. The placements in our college are also good.

Campus Life :

The college conducts various cultural and department events more often and the students also give active participation. Many textbooks and research books are available in the library for various subjects. The students can also refer to journals. The Annual sports meet is conducted every year where various events are conducted. There are many clubs in the college that are academic or as skill-based. There is a shop run by the students inside the campus with all the basic requirements for the students available.

Admission :

The course I have chosen has the eligibility criteria, must have studied English in their higher secondary and can be from any stream in their 12th grade. The application form is available in both modes, online as well as offline. The scholarship is available for students with high academic merit and sports profile. The professors are very helpful in guiding us through the admission process.

If I were to rate the course in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness I would give it 8.5/10. It gives a proper foundation for the person pursuing the course. The exam timings are also good as it doesn't stress the students much and it gives them time to study.

In our college, the campus interviews are conducted with the Final year students. Many Good Companies offered jobs for the students. From the beginning of the fifth semester, the placement training was conducted by our college management. That was very useful for us.
