Remarks :

Eligibility for civil engineering is 12th grade in non-medical or should have a diploma in engineering. There is no entrance examination for admission. The fee is 1lakh 40000 per annum with the hostel. Admission is very simple you only need to get in touch with the college. They will then do the admission by themselves.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose civil engineering because it has a lot of opportunities in my home state Jammu and Kashmir. Faculty are up to the mark, supportive and well expert. student ratio is almost 80 in every branch. Qualification of every teacher is a minimum m. Tech and some are Ph.D. holders in their respective fields. Teachers are well-trained in every way. And teaching is done in languages preferred by the students. Vikas sir, Digambar sir, sunny sir, and Anchal mam are highly qualified and skillful in teaching. In every semester you have 2 term exams before applying for the final semester exam. Passing exams is very easy as teachers are teaching very well and they prepare the students in the best way for the final semester exams

Internships Opportunities :

We were interns in R&b department Yamunanagar and sewage treatment plant radar. As an intern we were in these companies there was only food accommodation there with no salary. We were trained to do the Inspection of a road that was under construction

Placement Experience :

After the 7th-semester students become eligible for placements. Hch. Infosys, radical minds, NHPC, and SRTC are various companies that visited there, The highest package given was 10 lakhs per annum and the average is 5 lakhs. Job profiles offered are junior engineer, supervisor, and software engineer in the IT branch. 90% of students are getting placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee is 140000 per annum including the hostel, with no fee hike policy. You can avail of scholarships like NSP., Momo, etc. Scholarships are handled by the accounts departments themselves, you just need to provide some required documents.

Campus Life :

JOSH annual fest is conducted every year in march month. In addition, some cultural fests are also conducted at regular intervals. Books and journals are available I'm library you can avail of them at any time. Classrooms are highly advanced with Ac. Projectors are used for teaching. Sports and extracurricular activities are done every semester. We were the winners of the Global Premier League twice

Hostel Facilities :

In the hostel, you are provided with a chair, table, and locker. Ac is present in every hostel room. One room is allotted to 2 students The meal served is good, especially the breakfast served is very tasty. The registration process for a hostel is all handled by college staff, students don't need to worry about that.

Hostel Fee : INR 70000 per year

Placement Experience:

The companies start to visit the campus to place students in 7th and 8th semesters. Almost all the sincere students get a decent fresher job. Students decide from the multiple MNC's that visit the institute every year. Infosys, Daffodil, and Naggaro are some which constantly conduct placement drives. Many students crack government exams thanks to the world-class library and many also crack off-campus offers. In a nutshell, the institute's placement cell in the leadership of Training and Placement Officer Mr.Arun Hooda who himself is an alumnus of the institute has something to offer to every candidate.I plan to either go for a government job or crack a good placement offer , But currently being a sophomore i am not focusing so much on my plans after i get a degree.

If I talk about the negative remarks is this college is affiliated from Kurukshetra University and the results are very bad. Almost 60-70% students of particular stream get reappear. And it never get cleared in first attempt.
