Remarks :

To take admission to this college you have to give nchmct exam which is conducted every year for ihms and sihms and the minimum rank should be 7000 and direct admission process is also available here.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The best thing about this college is the faculty. They guide you when it is needed the most. The teaching techniques are very innovative and easy. There are mid-term exams that help you to recall whatever you've studied till then. They are 50 marks.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internship programs are in the 4th semester and on the basis on that an exam is conducted to pass the 4th sem. Companies like Hyatt Marriott Oberoi ritz Carlton etc with a stipend from around 1000 to 5000.

Placement Experience :

Placements are quite good in this college more than 15 companies come with placement opportunities. The average rate for placement is 70%. If your placement is not done within the college you can apply for walk-in interviews.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees are not so expensive its just like any other ihm or sihm. Placement and internship are provided by various companies and hotels like Mcdonald's taj, and Oberoi Marriott comes to campus with placement opportunities and a stipend depending on your skills and knowledge.

Campus Life :

In the name of sports, this college has only volleyball. Classes are well maintained and all kinds of books for every department is available in the library. There are not so many extracurricular activities available in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had opted HM industry to pursue a career in the kitchen departement but during my industrial training I started gaining interest in the front office department. To be honest 80% of the cource that you study in your college will not be useful in the hotel industry because every hotel has their own standards.Teaching methods in the college can be improved.

Placement Experience:

in 5th semester we need to submit our CV to the respected faculty who is incharge of placements, in 6th semester placements start taking place and hotels and retail sector starts the interview for hiring . 350000 is the mininmum package per year which our college provide.

My hotel management journey

Placement Experience:

From 4 th sem students become eligible for campus placement. Only one i visited and that was Clark's inn hotel. My highest average package was only 1900 per month . Therr were very little as 10% students getting placements. My plan after getting a degree was to start my own hotel once again as AIRBNB.

College is Decent

Remarks:

Poor infrastructure and facilities. Too much focus on useless unnecessary things and less on learning. The values thought by college faculty is good and they prepare the students well for the industry but as I said many of the faculty is lazy and carefree as they are in a government job.
