Remarks :

For admission to Btech at IIT Delhi, you have to qualify for JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. The application form for jee mains is available on the NTA website and JEE advanced on Jee advanced website. The application fee for jee mains is rs 650 for general (male)and OBC (male) and Rs 325 for all other categories. The application fee for jee advanced is Rs 3000 for general(male) and obc(male) and rs 1500 for all other categories. If the family income is less than rs100000, then 100% course fee is waived, and if the family income lies between rs100000 to rs600000, then 66.66% course fee is waived, and if the family income is greater than 600000, then you have to pay the full course fee. The admission process is smooth.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose textile engineering because my rank in jee advanced is not enough to get the other courses at IIT Delhi. In my branch, nearly 100 students were enrolled and 9 faculty are there. Many TAs are also there to help students. All faculty are highly qualified. The teaching methods are unique and excellent. Every 2 months, either a minor or Major examination happens. The course is difficult and you have to attend regular classes to score well in the course.

Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The internship is offered to students in 3rd year with an annual stipend of around 10 lacs per annum beside this it also provides summer internship offer to students. roles depend on the type of internship like data analyst, software engineer, etc.

Placement Experience :

After 6th semester, students are eligible for campus placement.companies like Google, Microsoft,oracle, Samsung Amazon etc come with job offer . Around 600+ company visited every year in placement with a job offers of total 1000+ job offers are offered to students Highest package was 2cr per annum last year for software engineer and data science analyst . highest package were offered by Microsoft and google Average package was around 20 lacs Around 90% students get placed in campus placement After getting the degree, i planned to get placed in campus placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee depends upon family annual income. If annual income is less than rs100000 , full course fee is waived. If annual income lies in 1 to 6 lakh, 66.6% course fee is waived and if annual income is greater than 6lakh ,the you have to pay full fee. You can apply for many scholarship scheme like NSP, FFE etc. Many scholarship depend on CGPA and may on your annual income.

Campus Life :

The annual fest is Rendezvous which is the best fest in North India. Tryst is our tech fest which happen in month of March. Inter IITs tournament happens every year and Inter hostel tournament also happens. There are many clubs like music, sports, drama ,NSS, NSO etc. The clubs are run by students.

Hostel Facilities :

Double sharing rooms are given in the first year. Two tables and two chairs are given. Meal quality is average. Hostel allotment is random. We can't chose a particular hostel. Mess fee is rs 30k per semester and hostel fee is 25k per year.

Good for money not for life

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. In 2024 the highest package till now is 88L per annum and the median package is around 18L per annum.. On campus are good and also off campus placements are also focused. Which is good point!

Unfiltered Truth

Placement Experience:

For 4yr courses like btech students of 7th semester become eligible for campus placements. Tcs, ambuja, mahindra tech and etc.. Companies visited and they made decent number of offers. Highest package is 25 lakhs which offered by amazon. Lowest package is 1.70 lakhs offered by tcs. Percentage of students getting placements is 30%. I wanna join indian army so I will appear for defense exams after the degree

The excellent college.

Placement Experience:

The placement of college is quite good. About 60-70% students get placed on placements. Various big companies visited BPIT like MICROSOFT, AMAZON, GOOGLE, etc. The highest package is about 35 lakhs per annum and the lowest package is around 4-5 lakhs. The average package is 8 lakhs per annum.

Dilemma choosing NSUT? Here the analysis

Placement Experience:

Usually the placement session starts in the beginning of the 4th year when the recruiters start coming however some people get PPOs even in the end of 3rd year. How the number of on campus internship is quite less of around 100-200 including all three campuses of NSUT. As of now the a total of 457 companies visited for on campus placements and 1400+ offers were given out of 2500 students in the yr 2023 published by the College administration. The highest package offered was 87 lpa and the average package was around 8-10lpa overall. The placement percentage would be around 60-70% overall but talking about my own ICE branch it had a fantastic percentage of 97%. My plans after getting degree is to getting into either a tech MNC or into a core semiconductor company like Qualcomm, Foxconn, etc.

My experience at DTU

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are good at DTU. Average package in 2023 was 25 LPA. Highest package was 82 LPA for BTech and 51 LPA for MTech. More than 160 companies visited DTU in 2023. Around 91 percent student were placed.

IIT-D review

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I am interested in mechanicals. There are few courses in which more than one branch studies so more number of students otherwise 70-80 students per faculty. Faculties are well qualified done masters from foreign universities. Some faculties use slides others use chalk and board. There are minors(mid-sem) and majors(end-sem). Other than that there are quizzes ~4 per semester per course.
