Remarks :

There are several entrance exams. I gave the joint entrance exam. After that the rank basis i got this collage. Here is also a reservation seat like the tfw portal. Here admission process is so easy. Not only that some faculty helps the student to get admission here

Course Curriculum Overview :

In this course, the job opportunity is so big. That's why I take this course. Here the faculty is very good they also help us. the teaching method is good also. In makeup, the exam is to taff but sir make it easier.

Class Size : 64Course Fees : INR 385000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Students can do an internship when they want. faculty also helps to do an internship. After the 5th-semester companies come here for the job they also gave me the chance for doing an internship. in an internship, a stipend is given.

Placement Experience :

Sitting in placement required 8 cgpa. Many companies come here like Wipro TCS maventexk etc. Our college placement percentage is 90%. The highest package is 800000 and the average package is 500000. Faculty also helps students to get placement

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Here fee structure is 400000 in four years. Some scholarship is here like asajoyati. Swami Vivekananda merit cum scholarship is here. Which gives 240000 in 4-year whish helps a middle-class student to study well.

Campus Life :

The annual fest is from time to time. Here are two libraries one for technology students and another for management students. A lot of books are here by different authors. The smart projector is here in every classroom. Extra curriculum like blood donation camp. And angaan udaan is here for extra carriculam

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Overall only one thing is important is about hardwork with smart work . You have to work on your skills rest college is there to help you to show the path from your college to carrier .

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
