Remarks :
You can apply for the FABM course during the CAT form filling. Interview calls were given on basis of the CAT percentile. If anyone scores 85+ percentile & has agriculture related graduation, he/she will get the call. After that, WAT & PI were conducted. Agriculture-related questions were asked in it.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this program because I wanted to pursue MBA in agriculture & IIMA FABM program is the best in the world for MBA in the agriculture sector. The faculty is amazing. Teachings are case-based mostly. There are 6 terms in 2 years. In every term, there are mid-term exams & then final terms exams. Famous for surprise quizzes.
Internships Opportunities :
For FABM guys, companies like Nestle, FMC, Olam, ETG, UPL, etc., are regular recruiters. Mainly Marketing, operations, Strategy, or Consulting roles are offered. The average stipend per month is 85k for FABM.
Placement Experience :
There is summer placement for two months after the first year, for which the process starts in November. There is a record of 100% placement with an average package of 21 lakhs for PGP-FABM & about 34 lakhs for PGP.
Fees and Financial Aid :
The fee is approximately 24 lakhs for two years. You can easily avail of an education loan for it. Scholarships are grades based as well as need-based. You can make your carrier in any domain( Marketing, Operations, etc. ) after graduating from IIMA.
Campus Life :
Annual fests like Chaos and Krishi Manthan are regularly organized. Library facilities are excellent ( 24*7 availability). The classrooms are amazing, with sufficient seating capacity. All required features like projector, mike are available. There are facilities for most sports. Frisbee is a primary legacy sport here. There are more than 50 clubs.
Hostel Facilities :
Bed, study table, chairs. Almirah, AC:- All these facilities are available in rooms. Food is delicious in a mess. There are also more than seven food vendors on campus. Hostels are affordable. You give electricity charges if your electricity consumption is more than the given limit.
Interview Experience :
Interview calls were given based on the CAT score. After that, there was a WAT(written ability test) round in which my topic was "Patience is an undervalued skill." After that, there was a PI round on the same day. Most of the questions were related to UG background & HRQs. Just stay updated about what's happening in the world & you must have basic knowledge about your UG degree.
