Remarks :

To get admission in any department, you mus have passed 10+2 with PCM/PCB/PCMB. You have to go through online counselling by mpdte site. Once you get selected after choice filling process, you have submit the documents at the deparment. Cut off to get admission varies every year so you have to check it out by yourself. and there is different cut offs for different category students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The pharmacy course offers you a various job opprtunities in various fields. The curriculum is well designed for a student to get be industry ready after the completion of the course, the faculties here also help the students to become more acceptable in industries. The faculties here are well educated and Masters and PhDs in their field. They guide the students very well. Here, the semester system is followed, which means there are 2 semesters for each year, so total 8 sems in 4 years. To pass these semesters you have to get at least 50% marks in each subject.

Internships Opportunities :

The internship opportunities comes in the final year of the course and every student can take part in it. The project works are also given to students whichhas got a weightage of 250 marks. Many students also apply for the interships on their own, which is fair enough. Some are paid and some are not.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Recently, the fees of pharmacy course got increased from 41,000 to 47,550 which I think is legitimate (since it's less than any private institutions). You can avail scholarships also which will help you to give your fees. For general category students, Medhavi scholarship is their, in which they get a full concession on tution fees. And for other category students they can either apply for post-matric scholarship or for medhavi too. Unfortunately, there is no job that you can get in a campus right now to help with your fees (I haven't got one).

Campus Life :

Campus of Barkatullah university is around 400 acres, which is more than enough. There are many fests and events organised by the various departments on occassional basis. There is a Cultural fest organised by the university itself every year in which the student gets the opportunity to show their talent at university, state or national level. There are extra curricular activities like sports events, various competions held in the campus in which a student can take part.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as I have an immense interest in chemistry and as per my result, I realized that MBBS is not my cup of tea. The faculty is well experienced and supportive and the student ratio is good i.e. 4:6 is the ratio for girls: to boys. The faculty we have here have pursued master's or even Ph.D. in their respective subjects and their teaching method is very modern and practical which makes learning an easy process. We have exams in the spam every 3-6 months and difficulty level in intermediate.
